As the title says, I haven’t watched any other parts of JoJo, only a few episodes of part 1. So do u think I can watch this and understand the plot?

I wouldn't recommend it. Part 6 has the most throwback to the other parts and a lot of things are gonna go over your head if you haven't read/watched the first five. Plus there's some characters and scenes you'll appreciate less if you haven't experienced the other parts.

well Memes aside, you won't be able to understand the blood line and relations othervise it's definitely watchable, but it's not gonna start anytime soon so I would recommend watching from part3

Please don’t. Look part one was REALLY dry to the point where I actually put jojo on hold for a year but when I came back and powered through it to get to the good parts, I was extremely glad I stuck through it. Trust me you’ll love it, watching any part without watching the previous parts would just take away from the whole experience.

Even though I wouldn't recommend.


Just go through 10 ep of first season. You might like it after that.

all these other guys being cringy and saying no you can litrally skip any part i do think 3rd part is very important tho since thats where they bring up the newer stuff and you basically get the jist of things

If this is your first time stepping into jojo I would recommend you to start from the first season but skip the first nine eps(part1) or watch/read a summary because it can be pretty boring for a non-jojo fan or you can start from part 3

You shouldn’t, but if you really don’t want to watch the other parts, at least watch part 3 before, it is the most important in relation to part 6.

I don't think you'll understand the plot of part 6 entirely if you haven't watched all the parts, so it's up to you.

If you skip parts, you will rot in hell.
Just power through Part 1 and the rest will be easy. You can easily catch up before Part 6 starts airing.

Very brave question to ask, especially in the JOJO community.

If u think it’s boring don’t watch at all, Part 1 and 2 are important cause the Joestar family gets explained. In part 6 it’s the Kujo family.

yea I've watched everything and it was fun for me, but well there's almost nothing about dio being a vampire in part 3

part 2 is literally the best (animated) part, don't listen to them, OP. power through pt 1 (its only 8 eps anyway) and as soon as you get to part 2, you'll start enjoying it

I mean if you wanna skip then go ahead and skip but everything in part 6 will go over ur head xD. So if suggest not doing it. Besides, JoJo is such a good series u shd t skip any of it, infact it's so interesting that u won't feel like skipping anything.
