Like I’m trying to find any anime that will make me feel sad but I can’t lmao. Idk if I’m just used to movies and stuff like that. Im not depressed or anything, I’m actually pretty happy. Help?? |

| Well to be fair Hotaru no Haka isnt like the ultimate tearjerker. Every tearjerker is a drama, but not every drama is a tearjerker. You need tearjerkers Well getting emotional with an anime is quite the task i'd say because you hve to learn to be honest with yourself. A series is better for this since it has a longer runtime and it gives you more time to connect to the characters. I'd say go watch YliA, Clannad, Plastic Memories, Sakurasou. Clannad especially is awesome |

| Don't worry about that. I also don't feel anything towards that movie too. I can confirm it as one of my least favorite movie as well. Just keep looking for good shows and you'll surely encounter one. Try not to look for especially tearjerkers shows because when you don't feel anything you'll be very disappointed. Instead look for good drama anime or fun shows. |

| question, did you go into this anime expecting THE MOST TOUCHING STORY EVAR with a box of tissues and a tub of ice cream ready? because if you did, that could explain your reaction. i don't know about you, but when i watch or read something with a lot of hype, i am a lot more critical of it. that's why i always try to keep my expectations low - then i'll never be disappointed. |
| Even outside of anime, everyone cries/feel emotion at different things. For example, I consider clannad to be the saddest thing I've seen but I'm sure there's a countless amount of people out there who watched it with a straight face. It's natural |

| Well it's pretty common , not everyone cried watching sad anime , it's simply you can't relate to the character sadness , don't try too hard to relate it's not a sin to not crying on sad shows I've watched violet evergarden eps 10 , the so called saddest anime Episode but I don't feel anything at all it feels like a PSA for loving your family . |
