| "The new film will premiere under the subtitle Sei Oukoku-hen (Holy Kingdom Arc)." -MAL News There hasn't been any news of a recap movie for the third season, but the name of the newly announced movie should be Overlord: Sei Oukoku-hen in reference to volumes 12 and 13 of the ln, meaning that this is more than likely a sequel to Overlord IV. A possibility to me is that, considering the prior pacing of the series and that movies usually adapt one volume, Overlord IV adapts volumes 10-12 and the movie adapts volume 13. |

The thing is that Holy Kingdom is two volumes, they have two volumes to adapt before it, they've paced 3 volumes per season so far and anime movies usually cover one volume. I don't think it's likely that they will try and do 4 volumes in 12 episodes and then do a recap of the last two unless it's an extended edition or something. |

| are they really going to adapt vol 12 n 13 for 1 movie ? while vol 10 n 11 that aren't even as good as vol 9 get freakin whole season ? sad |
| I Think the logical thing would be S4 adapting 10-12 and the movie adapting 13, as cramming 2 volumes in a movie that would basically be the length of 4 episodes would be disastrous, while if it was 1 volume then both the movie and S4 would fit perfectly with how many episodes each volume got until now and they wouldn't need to cut much. Ending S4 in the middle of an arc would also entice more people to go watch the movie when it comes out. So I hope that they go that route. |
