Because people hate studio deen so much that it makes them blind. I love this season too, and I even think that story wise the previous season was great and people need to understand that animation isn’t the only thing we should enjoy from

I like Seven deadly sins, but if you had watched more than 3 anime you would know how shit the animation is in the last few seasons including this one.

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I think the story kinda went to shit on this season. I don't know if it's because of the execution or anything else but I just can't take this season seriously for some reason. Season 3 obviously had the animation problem, but apart from that I really liked Meliodas and Elizabeth's backstory, the new characters and how things were starting to heat up, but I found this season so disappointing, I feel like everything is so easily solved, nothing seems like a real problem. Every "impactful" moment just had me rolling my eyes, like Estarossa's revelation or King's transformation, it just seemed so random. Also, there's the Demon King. He's litteraly one of the most powerful beings in the universe, everyone fears him, but in this season he didn't seem like a threat at all. What happened?

Since I'm rating it a 2, I'll say why. I think the story is a mess. Season 2 was OK, but then 3 came along and added far too much random asspulls and dumb power scaling. It's fine to like this show. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and I personally don't like this show anymore. The only real reason as for why I'm still watching this is to see a ship I like set sail, and because I'm hoping this is the end of the story.

but, we who said the animation is good just compare it with the previous season. I as a fans of this anime sure just hope this season will be better than the previous one, because what, the deadline is still strict imo. I really grateful it got delayed until now (at first, will be air at October 2020) but somehow, 1 year is still not enough to animated it all and considering Deen made 3 animes for this season

sure, not defending them (Deen) but to say Deen is a bad animation studio because of 7ds is just not right. You can see a lot of Deen work which is good imo. Moreover, i think people who hate Deen didn't do a proper research about what happen with previous season.

Look at this season, we have Re:Zero s2, Dr.Stone s2, Attack on Titan final season, Yuru Camp s2, Promised Neverland s2, 5toubun Hanayome s2, Mushoku Tensei, Wonder Egg Priority, Beastars s2, Jujutsu Kaisen, Log Horizon s3, Tensura s2, Non Non Biyori s3, Horimiya, Hataraku Saibou s2 and Black, and last but not least Redo of Healer..

It's just too many big names and good anime airing this season which possibly increasing their standard in some ways, and they thought NNT s4 could not exceed their expectation to compete.

Also after all disappointing result from s3, no one would actually care about this anime like they used to do before, even tho they are still wrong for stay being mad to the new season after they kinda improve better than s3 last time. Still i kinda understand it..

Honestly I have no clue, some people have their standards really high because of the other seasonal animes that are out right now. In my opinion they upped their game from the previous season and they learned their lesson. Honestly I was expecting this season to be not as good, but it kinda exceeded my expectations, the animation and fights are 5x better than last season, and since they’re making a movie with the new animation they got, I’m sure the movie will pop off as well. I hope the studio keeps it going at this pace, because I’m personally enjoying it and for what’s to come as a manga reader myself.

imo the story becomes more idiotic by an episode. if it's true to the source material, I gues the original story is a wreck. they keep introducing "plot twists" that don't make any sense, making characters act out of place. I bet by the end of the season tht scor will drop even lower

I have 800 completed anime. Having said that, I only dropped one, 3rd season of toaru index whatever. And this anime would be the second had I watched more than 2 eps, hence it doesn't make my definition of dropped. The reason I know it would be the second is it would take a miracle for the story to be turn out to be good, if that even makes sense, and the animation... I think... no, no hope there. You can't create money after all

People's standards are too unrealistic nowadays. They want anime that has hundreds of millions of dollars budget animation and plot that requires 180 IQ to analyze. lol

Well I don't think this Season is bad, But its just that it got overshadowed by some Winter 2021 animes (Especially Attack on Titan)..

well AoT has been more popular indeed. But that still doesn't mean that NnT was left behind it got more views than kemono jihen, cells at work etc... so I deff think its not so underrated. But just like I said the last season destroyed its reputation me included

I still enjoy the show, but i cant stop laughing my ass off when i see the fight scenes. it looks like a literal power point. I understand its low rating because most people choose animation > story for some reason. Plus, anything studio deen makes will get a rating below 7

Story wise it's boring and haves a lot of unnecessary stuff that makes characters out of place plus the horrible animation which I don't mind sometimes but combining those 2 together of course I'll give it a 1 :/
I'm litteraly pushing myself to watch the latest episodes and I'll be honest here, while watching them I felt like I was gonna fall asleep from how boring it is

Personally I had a good time with the series until Deen took over. Part of that is due to the story not being as interesting anymore. When they started fighting against the 10 Commandments it had a lot of potential. It lost a bit of steam along the way, but The Holy War saga really killed it for me. I'm trying my best to finish this season, after that I don't think I'll come back for more.
