Fate Zero and Unlimited Blade Works in that order chronologically but there is little to no spoilers noticeable if you watch UBW first although the recommended order is starting with Fate Zero. After that (Fate Zero and UBW) you can choose to watch the Heavens feel movies which is an alternative route of unlimited blade works. I apologize if this is too wordy but I hope you have fun with the series. Extra: This will be a bit confusing so I will try to sum it up the best I can. There are 3 routes, Fate, Unlimited Blade Works and Heavens Feel. Fate stay night by Studio Dean is the Fate route. Fate Zero and Unlimited Balde Works is the UBW route. (studio Dean also did a UBW movie but I recommend the Ufotable anime series because in my opinion it was adapted better). And heavens feel movies is the heavens feel route(3 movies). My watch order is: 1.Fate Zero(UBW route) 2.Fate UBW(UBW route) 3.Fate Heavens Feel movies (Heavens feel route) 4.Fate Stay Night (Fate Route) You can choose any route but the UBW is the most recommended to start first because they are one the newer additions to the fate series and adapted by studio Ufotable. and UBW (studio Dean) is not required but I watched it because why not. As for side stories which are another anomalies of confusing, you can watch them if you want to watch more of the series but I think the mainline fate routes are a good place to stop. |

| By chronological order, this (Fate Zero) would be the beginning. However, watching this first, spoils events of the others, therefore by technicality you start backwards: 1-) F/Stay Night (Deen Studio) 2-) UBW Prologue (Ufotable) 3-) Fate Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works 4-) UBW Special (For Completionist purposes) 5-) Fate Zero 6-) Fate Stay Night Heavens Feel (3rd and last movie is not subbed yet) Up to this point you get to decide if you would like to continue with the franchise. By this point you know if you like it or not and watch the Spin-off, not any particular order though: Fate Encore, Fate Apocrypha, Fate Grand Order, Fate Kaleid Prysma Illya. Added bonus: ONLY IF you want the full Nasuverse experience (The author of this story) then you can finally complete it with the 9 movies of Kara no Kyokai and Tsukihime series (Both shows occur and share the same universe) Then as an extra you watch Carnival Phantasm. If you just want the Fate aspect then by watching from items 1-6 you should be good. |

| Beyond pathetic that people are still getting this wrong. It goes like this: Fate/stay night -> Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works -> Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel -> Fate/Zero -> The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II. After the original Fate/stay night you can watch: Carnival Phantasm (but this involves characters from other Type-Moon works, so many faces will be unrecognizable) Today's Menu for the Emiya Family Fate/Prototype Fate/Extra (but this is a sequel to a game, so it will make little sense without it) Fate/Apocrypha (but complete the whole F/SN -> El-Melloi order first for the best experience) After Heaven's Feel you can watch Fate/Grand Order, in the following order: Fate/Grand Order: First Order -> Fate/Grand Order: Divine Realm of the Round Table Camelot -> Fate/Grand Order: Absolute Demonic Front Babylonia -> Fate/Grand Order: Grand Temple of Time Solomon -> Fate/Grand Order: Moonlight/Lostroom. Note Camelot and Solomon aren't available yet, and the adaptations cut through five arcs, so maybe leave F/GO for now or play the game instead. There are also three F/GO specials, (Manga de Wakaru!, Himuro no Tenchi and Fate/Grand Carnival) but these wouldn't make any sense without playing the game. After Fate/Zero you can watch Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya, in the following order: Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya -> Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 2wei -> Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei -> Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya: Oath of Snow -> Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya: Prisma☆Phantasm With the upcoming movie situated right at the end (though you likely won't need to have seen Prisma☆Phantasm for it). |

| Honestly? Do you really want me to be honest here? I'd say to not get into Fate thorough their anime adaptations. This is a pretty wonky series, regarding their anime adaptations, and at the end of the day, they were really advertisment for the source material (that being visual novels, light novels, games etc). I advise you to find the original visual novel of Fate\Stay Night somewhere and start there. If you don't want to, well, at least I tried to make some sense in this mess. |

| I always think starting from the original is the best way to easily understand F/Z. So here's my order: 1- Fate/stay night 2006 2- Fate/Zero 3- Fate/stay night UBW You can watch the others in any order you like, but I suggest this order: 4- Fate/Apocrypha 5- Fate/Grand Order 6- Fate/stay night HF I haven't watched the whole series so that's the only anime I could order. |
