| Hiro Mashima’s duos are my thing. Male names are always referencing the seasons and female an english name. They are somewhat implied to be romantic but it never gets that deep, which something very unique in his works and is absolutely right on my taste! Its a shounen anime after all, but the character development of the two people very closely tied to one another, I love how he shows that well! Plus there will always be a cute pet companion to accompany them in their travels! Natsu and Lucy from Fairy Tail Haru and Ellie from Rave Shiki and Rebecca from Edens Zero (manga is so great) anime coming soon!! |

| Shin and Noi: they have the most healthy and supportive partner relationship I've ever seen and the fact that they're so nonchalant about taking bullets or stab wounds for each other is pretty fucking cool. Noi and Shin are also really good seniors with Noi always willing to help out her fellow colleagues and friends which reflects kinda in her magic which is that her smoke is capable of healing herself and healing others while Shin on the other hand is more aloof and seems cool and somewhat distant with a tendency for getting into adrenaline like rages but he has a part of him that looks out for those below him, detests bullying, and Cherishes his partnership/friendship with Noi Revy and Rock: They couldn't be more polar opposites with revy being a merciless and sadistic killer with no conscience from years of stealing and killing to survive while rock is by revy's point of view a spoiled white collared idiot who's never had to dirty his own hands to survive.This duo is so utterly polarizing both criticizing each other rock with how bloodthirsty and greedy revy can be and revy with how rock is so idealistic and how its easy for him to criticize her despite not. knowing anything about her. And despite all the differences between them rock and revy eventually grow respect between the two but at the same time can't help but cause spark arguments between the two small or big |
