| The vast majority of anime I watch (with some notable exceptions - Kill la Kill = favourite dub) I prefer to watch with Japanese audio and subs. I'm not a "dub hater" or a "sub elitist" or anything like that, it's just my preference. That said, I've not been able to bring myself to watch Vinland Saga yet because I'm a mythology / feudal history geek and I just can't watch something set in Scandinavia with Japanese audio. It just feels jarring to me. So...I'll probably wait for the dub. It was almost the same with Appare-Ranman! but I could kinda get past it for that show 'cos even though it was mostly set in America, the main characters were Japanese. |

Well I'd prefer it in Norwegian/Danish/Swedish but English is definitely easier to bear. I'm English. The Vikings invaded the county I live in around 860 AD. Like I said, it's just me, but there's certain settings/themes that shows use that I just cannot watch with a totally thematically out of place audio track. Turns out I also prefer my dark/low/high fantasy fiction to be spoken with a British accent, but my sci-fi/futuristic fiction to be American. Guess it's just what you get used to. |

| I rated both as 9, so I have no complaints. Also the the anime only covered the prologue part of the Vinland Saga, it gets better from there. |
| vinland's story and characters shit infinite rounds around kimetsu, but kimetsu had way better animation. I loved vinland but with just mediocre art and horrid pacing it was less enjoyable. |
