Kishimoto has not advanced the plot, he has already messed it up. ------ Lets see: Having Minato do some sort of Xanatos Roulette? Gimping and then Killing off realistic villain like Pain so Uchiha "I_Conquer_the_world" Madara can lead as main villain? Reviving every and every fodder character killed by aforementioned villain, thus making the whole arc pointless?' Throwing away the only female Akatsuki without her getting any sort of real fight? (I mean she just stands there as if making tea and then we get "and she went on to her country" shit) Pitting Sauce against ALL THE KAGES and still having him come out alive? Pitting Sauce against all the Kages? Having Main evil cliche villain want to put an eye on the moon? Having him blurt out his plan? Throwing away the idea of the new ninja war with hidden villages going against each other again and instead introducing some stupid "Evil Madara World Conqueror vs all the good villages" crap? Making KAKASHI the leader of aforementioned Alliance?(instead of someone OLDER and wiser, like, lets say any of Kages or frogs?) Pulling out the new and shiny never-before-mentioned ten tailed beast who now sports a sharinnegan? Having main character show up for 2 panels once in five chapters? Having aforementioned main character go emo in each of these panels? Hyping Kisame as some sort of chakra god who uses a magic sword ? (while it certainly would have been easier to just spit some "he's a shark sage" crap) ----------- Now Kishi did introduce the interesting stuff too, like The backstory of Uchiha and Senju and the Sage Mode, but the crap so far outweighs any sort of positive story development. Its like there's no pre-planned plot and characters run around doing whatever Kishi thinks up that second |

AND what do they mean when they say, Naruto is going to take a break? For how long exactly? I'm just too anxious to wait!! Awesome chapter :D |

And I'm sure you are a busy guy Fai, but since you seem to be an expert at story development; have you ever considered writing stories yourself? Have you already written stories? I'd love to read how an enticing plot is developed! |
| People shouldn't talk crap about age. Fai overreacted, I can't complain, because he does have a point, but I don't agree this chapter would be any worse than anything we've saw so far. It had some good points. Obviously the Kages needed to talk about what to do next. Nothing really awesome there, yet they did talk and decide something. I don't think they chose the Alliance leader yet, even if they did Konoha does not have any known characters that would be up to the job.If Kakashi were chosen as Konoha representative it would be a resoanable choice, as for now, I can't really think of anyone both strong and famous in Konoha. Yet, I can't see him being appointed as the Alliance leader, that would be too much. As for Kisame, that talk about having as much chackra as a Tailed Beast didn't bother me. It sounded more like a exaggeration from that mist shinobi. |

| Honestly the story is losing quality. I started re-reading the initial chapters of series I just for the heck of it & ended up reading all the way upto the Negi-Hinata fight in 1 go. On the other hand I don't feel the slightest desire to re-read a single chapter in sereis II. The firmness of the faith the charachters have in their paths is reduced senselessly in comparision to series I. I still think Zabusa was a better villain than a lot of these guys. Somehow the current plot just doesn't have the cool feeling it used to have before. It just feels like a stereotypical & highly predictable story where they are trying to overdo the highlighting of certain traits of the charachters. Eg: Sasuke's penchant for revenge, Madara's/Danzou's evil, Naruto's ability to reach out to people, Akatsuki's power, Sharingan's power etc. Note: Ofcourse the above is MY personal OPINION & I'm not trying to insult the author's work, because I for one have never written a story, leave aside a popular manga like Naruto. I just expressed that the story doesn't meet MY EXPECTATIONS. Whether or not anyone else likes the current plot is totally up to them. |

| Well it was an okay chapter for me, I thought the way they made this alliance was way too hasty. I'm just looking for the fight between Kisame and Killer Bee. Oh and btw, it appears that Raikage doesn't trust his brother that much. |
| I think this chapter was pretty good, even though I don't like how Kisame is supposed to match a bijuus chakra level. The bijuus were always mentioned as the strongest beings and now all of a sudden someone claims that Kisame is supposed to match them. I hope this is just an exaggeration. |
