Now that was a real WTF episode... everything suddenly turned evil and her mum just breaks everyone's necks with one hand lol. I give this one at least one point for the nice fanservice in episode 3 I guess. 2/10

This is some fucked up stuff.

There is something to be said in the 'business' aspect of whatever that organization is: strong beautiful women (as in a fighting game or anime) transformed through fantasy, outside their stage, into submissive sexual servants. Critics would say that's the point of an anime like this, solely to satisfy desires of the weak, but here it is laid bare for all to see. There's no doubt some self-awareness on the part of the staff. Or they're just edgy perverts.

But there is no happiness in this. Everyone is evil, the innocent are the only victims. Dumb paper-clothes battle shows shouldn't be depressing, but maybe this episode is the staff's revenge on the audience. If nothing else, this will certainly be memorable (for a little while at least).

I had low expectations for this show, but I thought it would be stupid and funny for a few hours, and it was for the first four episodes. I basically liked Aya and her friend, 2-dimensional as they are.

I've just finished watching it and the last episode left such a sour taste in my mouth. Everyone winds up evil, enslaved, or dead? I was honestly expecting Aya to un-wish the Martial Heart.

Come on, I just wanted to see some actiony bishoujo save the day or something. I dropped my score from 6 to 3 in the last 15 minutes of watching, and now I feel the need to complain about it on the internet.

Sums up my feelings too. I thought the end was dumb, not just for the absurdity of it but also the stupidityy of the characters, even the mute mother, all wishing death on Aya. Who had done literally nothing other than to exist. So after putting all their retarded effort into revenge on Aya the real threat Aya's mother appears and kills them all lol. Frankly the idiots got what they deserved.

Hell, that was a pretty good ending. Anime viewers really do have small minds and don’t think for themselves.

What a dumb anime.. "Your mom and dad did evil things, so we hate you and want to take revenge."

The reveal of her best friends brother being the bad guy in episode 3, then the reveal that it was a doppelganger, for the doppelganger to get shot by the real brother, who is actually the bad guy. In the same scene! What a rollercoaster of brilliant writing.

The best friends mom stabbing the pictures of the MC, while her mom was the one who did bad things to her.

All that while the MCs mom, who is the reason for them hating the MC, is still alive.

The list goes on.

Ep. 5 are a very highly entertaining 30 minutes that make the rest of the series worth watching.

If the other episodes would have been as schlocky and over-the-top (more so) like this one was, the show might have gone down as infamous in a meme-ish kind of way. Still, this one episode makes the show worthwhile due to how it recontextualizes prior events and fiercely barrages you with plot that seems like it's from 3 completely different anime titles at the same time. Loved it.

What even was that ending? I don't even mind the plot device of turning all of the girls into literal slaves. My problem with it is that it's a complete turnaround from the rest of the series and not even in a very good way. The motivation of the bad guys was that the main character's parents did something? Now because of that the kids have to pay for it? What even is that?

It's unfortunate, it's not that great a show, even from a fan service angle it's not that great. It should have gone a bit more extreme with the fan service, the character designs were pretty ugly, the fight scenes were not very well done, the direction was pretty bad. If you're looking for girls fighting series Ikkitousen is much better.
