Well I'm just curious about the climates people are use to, via Fahrenheit and/or Celsius, (Although I'm not to familiar with the Celsius Scale so please elaborate if possible)
based on where you're from that is.
Like what temperature do you consider cold, hot, and fair/nice?

This came to my attention because I came across a person one day who said that, 50-60 degree F weather is a time for shirts and shorts, well he said he was from Minnesota so go figure; now I'm from California and that type of temperature is time for sweaters, long sleeves and pants, and when things get up to 90-100+ degrees that's the time for shirtless and short-shorts.

Now I'm sure there's some individuals out there that wear tank tops and boxers out in the cold when everyone else is piled up in sweaters, but even so, just say what actually makes you put on at least a hooded-sweatshirt.

P.S. If you don't want to reveal your location because you're afraid someone out there is going to kill you or you just have a overwhelming fear of people who even know ONE PIECE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION about you, than you don't have to say so. Just elaborate a little more.

NOTE: I made some comparisons to give you an idea of what each is like
-20 degrees C = -4 degrees F
-10 degrees C = 14 degrees F
0 degrees C = 32 degrees F
10 degrees C = 50 degrees F
20 degrees C = 68 degrees F
30 degrees C = 86 degrees F
40 degrees C = 104 degrees F

I have a highly variable temperature range where I live. While it very rarely drops below 0 (32F) it reached 47 (116F) last summer. However it's usually quite mild; often in the high teens during the day in winter, and usually stays in the teens overnight in summer, even if lows and highs can get a bit uncomfortable, I quite like the high teens to early 20s. So anything sort of 60-80ish F is fine by me. Over 80F can start to get uncomfortable, under about 50F is getting a little too chilly.

Been growing up in a desert. :D

Anything below 50 degrees Fahrenheit is cold to me, but I can stand wearing a jacket up to about 85 degrees if I wanted to (walking home from school, no less). It is perfect outside when it is in the 70s range. I've done yard work in 118 degree weather and I'm not used to humidity, so going to a beach kills me sometimes because I feel like I can't breathe.

Still, I'm moving up north when I finally get out of my parent's house. I fancy living in Wyoming or Alaska. I bet I'll get used to those cold winters eventually. :)

Though the worst part about the winters down here is the snowbirds... And they'll start coming back here in the next couple of weeks. *sigh* Blocking up the roads and teasing the locals as they play golf in January. -.-

Live in Denver, CO

Current temp is 23 degrees Fahrenheit.

around here anything above 50 degrees is shorts and t-shirt weather.

its typical for weather to be in the high 80's in summer. but it can quickly change (in a matter of hours) to rain and thunderstorms and 60 degree weather.

Right now, I'd say it's about 30~40.

Melbourne, Australia, is known for its four seasons within a day. So its pretty unpredictable.

Hottest day would reach up to 47-48 degrees celcius while coldest would go into -3 to -5 cel.

Atm its about 17 degrees cel. Kinda chilly outside.

Sorry, I'm unfamiliar with Fahrenheit so yeah..

It's summer soon, I'm excited. ~ :D

Netherlands, I assume it's about 15 degrees Celsius here, which is about average and means long-sleeves and jeans, or T-shirts for the badasses.

Temperatures range from about -10 'til 30 degrees. Quite rainy over here too, since it's so close to sea, but now it's just cloudy.

I generally like temps when I can just walk around in tshirt outside, would be 20 and sunny. :]
Though they don't occur much often, I love hot rainstorms. 30 degrees and pouring rain. <3

Happy birthday rebekah!

It's usually warm, but the weather is whimsical. Season transitions tend to be really sudden here, a couple of weeks ago I still went to school with a t-shirt and no jacket on, a week ago I started wearing sweaters and winter jackets. Fahrenheit is like moonspeak to me, so I won't even try to convert into it...

All in all, it's often windy here. When it rains, it tends to be a slow, light rain lasting for days rather than a strong downpour lasting a few minutes. In winter the temperatures sometimes go down to -40, but are usually around -20 C; in summer the temperatures are around 35-40 C. Now it's something in between, I guess at around 10-15.

Riight now ....Norway, autumn.

-1 Celsius where I live.

Aah, finally the frost is here, not long until it snows on Bjorli. Can't wait to go snowboarding next weekend <3

Usually, I'm not sure if this counts for whole Norway. North Norway is colder, and south is warmer, but I live in the west so o.o

Anyways, where I live atleast, 20 Celsius is warm (Summer) and -20 Celsius is cold. (Winter)

Hot is like... 36º (August). Cold is like... 8-12º (December-January) We have all the seasons, but the main difference is between Summer and Winter. There is a huge variation. There is only snow in the North, on mountains. In the winter it rains a lot. In the Summer there are fires if it did not rain enough.

Now it's Autumn and it's sunny but chilly. As I like.

Stuck in Missouri, and the weather has it's own personality. Spring weather is usually rainy and around 50-60 F. Summer.....hot, around 80-100 starting around June and it's usually dry but it does rain a lot sometimes. Fall is cold, once it hits September it gets cloudy and windy with it being around 30-60......

Four other countries I'm curious about is South Africa, Southern Argentina, Svalbard and Iceland, if anyone's from these places... it'd be nice to let yourselves be known.

Well we don't wear shorts, but sure, we wear pretty normal clothes. Long-armed cardigans and wool shirts and what have you, of course, but it's not like we are suddenly belted in huge coats. Our house warming systems are quite good, after all.

If we're outdoors, it's thick jackets and whatnot, of course.

That, and it's actually pretty warm here during summer. At least in the far south it can get upwards 30 degrees celsisus. Gulf stream <3

Since it's Autumn now, you will be wondered about the chill winds that bring marvelous scentes of dry fruits and leaves falling all around you in an epitome of urban beauty. And we're so awesome that even in Autumn we have at least one beach day every fifteen days.

I live in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Today it was about 5 degrees celcius, so around 40-50 degrees F... That is absolutly concidered cold x)

But personally I enjoy it the most when it's just under 20 degrees C, when you can wear just a t-shirt, a thin coat and jeans :) When it's lower than 15 C, I think it's cold. At 10 C I start using my big, fluffy jacket. At about 23 C and sunny, no wind, it feels OK to wear shorts :) 25-30 C are absolutly to hot for me (but I get overheated easily).
And how can you SURVIVE if you only wear shorts when the temperature reaches 90 F oO? If I get it right, 90 F is around 35 C, and that is just about when you start to melt away if you wear any clothes at all o_____O Well, I guess everyone is used to different things x)

Well... That's about it x)

I live in Southern Ontario. Usually summers are hot (30 C) although they haven't been lately. Summers are always quite humid.

Snow starts melting early or mid-April, depends on how lucky you are. May may be 20 C weather, June is usually nice, especially late June.

September is usually 20 C weather as well, October it gets colder, November starts reaching 0, or snow if you're unlucky. Fall is usually nice and sunny in the beginning, November is mostly rainy.

The winters are fucking cold, and I live on the snow belt so I get a shitload of lake effect snow. I don't mind snow, I just hate the slush and freezing wind >.< And freezing rain is quite common, too.

Here's how I break it down:

-20 degrees C = -4 degrees F = Fuck that, I'm not leaving the house, unless I have to. ;_; (sadly most of the time winter is this.)
-10 degrees C = 14 degrees F = Bundle up. A lot. Winter boots, jacket, scarf hat etc. a must.
0 degrees C = 32 degrees F = Winter jacket a must.
10 degrees C = 50 degrees F = Warm jacket and gloves...still tolerable.
20 degrees C = 68 degrees F = Light sweater or short sleeves, but still needs long pants.
30 degrees C = 86 degrees F = Starting with 25, shorts are worn. This is very nice summer weather that everyone loves, and swimming time.
40 degrees C = 104 degrees F = Fucking hot. Doesn't get that hot here. Ever.
