| hey it's the first episode widescreen 16:9 episode, no more 4:3 aspect ratio. New OP and ED, not really vibing with the song. how to make fans not upset watching filler? open the episode with Matsumoto Boba... lmao well it's kinda weird but we got to see a lot of characters we normally didn't get to see, that's a good thing i guess. now i'm really curious how they gonna bring Ichigo and Rukia back to Soul Society, what lame excuse they gonna use. lol |

| Yeah, hard pass on rewatching this filler arc. Just a few mins reminded me of why I wasn't so big on it. Treating it as a spin-off is fine and probably could have worked as a movie idea. Hell, I might even come back & watch it later on. That said, I prefer fillers that feel like they're at least coherent parts of the greater whole and not their own separate entity that break a sense of continuity in the main story progression. Not to mention I remember the horror of watching this weekly & waiting in pure anticipation for the return to Hueco Mundo. Ironically enough though, this OP is one of my favorites from Bleach. Finally switching to full screen is a great feeling too. |

| Back once again to filler. Though I'm kinda happy, we get to see plenty of familiar faces and more screen time for people who don't have a lot. A new captain taking charge of squad three, though I don't really know how to feel about him. If I'm being honest I kinda don't like him but I guess I have a whole filler arc to see if I'll change my mind. Though I'm glad we get to see more of Kira the lieutenant of squad three, I really like his sword along with the way he acts. |
