SPOILER ALERT!

Doll's death in Kuroshitsuji Book of Circus

Even though she was a minor character, I absolutely loved her personality and how she tried to befriend Ciel. I loved seeing her and Ciel hanging out together and it really made me happy. So when she died, I stayed up for hours crying.

Kaori's death ~ Your Lie in April

This story touched me so much. Kaori made Kousei so happy. She got him back into playing the piano, it was beautiful. Everything was going good until she ended up sick and the story began to unfold and she passed away. It broke me honestly.

Korosensei ~ Assassination Classroom

Damn...his death screwed me up big time. That moment when he took attendance one last time was so...AHHH. He cared so much for his students more than most teachers. He was such an amazing person. Rip >.<

It's extremely rare for me crying over fiction (even though I am getting softer with age), and even rarer crying with anime: I shed a few tears only once, ep 10 of Violet Evergarden.
Plus, I got emotional (but did not cry) in some episodes of Dōkyonin wa Hiza, Tokidoki, Atama no Ue.

Episode 10 of violet evergarden (and most other episodes made my tear a bit too)
Episode 3 of angel beats
Episode 13 of made in abyss
Last episode of black lagoon
Episode 11 of Beastars
And the very final scene in anohana

These are all the animes that I remember I actually cried watching, with actual tears and that weird little feeling you get in your throat and nose

Some other animes made me really sad and emotional (like the ending of samurai champloo or fate zero) but these actually made me physically cry

It took a very long time for an animation to make me cry, normally I'd just tear up a little bit or just have watery eyes, but it wasn't till I saw Furiko made by the comedian Tekken that I straight up cried. It's only a 3 minute short, how the hell is it capable of making me cry EVERY. SINGLE. TIME I WATCH IT? I even checked out Tekken's other anime shorts and damn, a lot of them are quite capable of making me cry too. Why the hell is he a comedian.

I do a lot since for whatever reason i'm a crybaby especially to anime shit but the 2 worst for me was of course clannad ending and I think the biggest was Angel beats off ending since I can relate to the whole "high school graduation thing" which I hated when it happened to me.

Of course I do skip lots of the popular anime that is very sad as well.

LMFAO. yup episode 10 was hardcore. The series didn't really affect me besides that unfortunately except episode 7 and a tiny bit at the end.

this is so true, that episode came crashing into my soul without me even realising it would come, so glad I went into this series without knowing anything about it, I just heard the words "its really good" and saw it on the netflix front page

I usually just tear-up or have a lump in my throat if I get emotional during a scene like in AoT, Angel Beats, Cowboy Bebop etc, but the ones that made me truly cry, like outright sobbing, are these -
Akatsuki no Yona OVA, Clannad After Story ep 18 (the whole field scene with Tomoya and Ushio), Fullmetal Alchemist
Hotarubi no Mori e, HunterxHunter, and Gintama.

I want to know what it is,
this 'sin' they say I've committed.

Husband came home from work and saw me through our sliding door a hysterical sobbing mess, rushed in because he thought someone died or something.

Also in Hikaru no Go, certain scene gets me every freaking time.

No. Not once have I cried for any fictional character in any medium. I've yet to find one that does that. Most of the "sad" anime that people recommend to me are pretty boring.

I've stopped crying over it so I guess that means it's time to watch it again.

The last anime that openly made me cry was Bungou Stray Dogs season 3 episode Portrait of a Father.

I am a crybaby. Dont know what got into me, but I cry even for scenes that don't warrant such a reaction. Looking back, most of them are harmless stuff.

But I do remember some instances where my throat just closed up. Plastic Memories, Planetarian: Hoshi no Hito, Code Geass, Clannad are all my favorites which got me crying.
Best ending line in anime history = "My name is Saiki Kusuo. I am a psychic."

The Ant King in hunterxhunter will always make me cry no matter how many times i've watch it.

Code Geass R2. C'mon u have a heart of stone if u didn't cry in the ending. But it doesn't hurt that much after watching it many times. And you will realize that the sacrifice e was really needed.

And of course, Banana Fish ending. Really Ash deserves better. After all that pain he deserves happiness!!! So why?! Lets not forget to read the bonus chapter of the manga so it can add salt to our wound.

BONUS

I just finished reading killing stalking few days ago. Its crazy as much as it hurts. Really reminds me of banana fish.
The ending made me cry because the main characters looks like they are living everyday life with pain and i just want them to have a happy ending but what i get is grief.

The only happy tears were from Fruits Basket. The last two - I'm still upset.
