The volume ends with Suzie Q checking in on her daughter in Japan. She initially looked like she's fooling around without knowing about the situation but it was actually her maternal instincts and the fear of finding out the grave condition of her daughter with her very eyes that's caused this. Seeing Holly be so pale and sickly's terrifying.

Rosas sure knows how to fight~

To get a chapter like this after the gang was literally a few steps from their final destination, going all the way back to the beginning, in Japan, in Holly’s house, it felt good. A reminder of how much ground we have covered in this journey, those days with Holly feel like forever ago. And Suzie Q, while at first appearing to be eccentric and absent minded, going so far to make her handsome Speedwagon Foundation bodyguard awkwardly hold her pet turtle, she did get Erina treatment too. She is a badass grandma!!! Everyone wanted to keep her in the dark, and one could critique this with a feminist lens, Holly has no fighting spirit, she’s too gentle and thus her stand kills her, and Suzie Q was kept in the dark while the men did all the work. While this may still be possible to do, Suzie Q showed that she knew something was wrong and worried for her daughter and husband. Ultimately, she showed faith, that in 50 years Joseph never let her down, so they will take the helm in actively believing in him and Jotaro. Taking to Holly’s side to keep her morale up! Her badass, compassionate Luigi assistant Rosas isn’t the strong one here, it’s her! She didn’t even falter for a moment.

Meanwhile, as she sits with Holly back in Japan, the remaining boys rush to see their allies Polnareff and Abdul in a badass panel! That is all their boys right? We’re not forgetting anyone? Nah we’re not, the other group was only the two of them… Right? The amount of times the characters forget Iggy even exists and don’t even verbally worry about him makes me think they wouldn’t even realize he died if he wasn’t found on the way to Polnareff. That said, a walk through devastation, the bodies of their friends lining the way, to reach an injured Polnareff who is attempting to face Dio first is a rad idea.

Suzie Q became older, but just as in Joseph's case her personality remained more or less the same (just, more mature).

Hang in there Holly and Suzie!

Twas a nice chill chapter right after the Vanilla ice fight. I didn't care a whole lot for this chapter but it's sad seeing Holly in that condition.
