Hi there !
I can't count the times that I've been watching animes at niht during my last 6 years of existence. It's a lot, and ultimately I was pretty fine with it.
The problem here is that with my new studies and new country, I need to sleep well. And well, here I am at 4am writing this post after not being able to do a proper night since September.
It can be comedy, action, slice of life, psychological; I always keep on watching the show until I'm almost dead and go to sleep for 2 hours.
If you have any ideas, any recommendations of what could help me fell asleep, it would be a huge, huge help.
Thanks again and have a great day/evening/night !

Definitely this : https://myanimelist.net/anime/7897/Issho_ni_Sleeping__Sleeping_with_Hinako

It's literally an anime about a sleeping girl for almost 1 hour long.

Mushi-shi is the perfect thing to watch before bed. The whole experience is so soothing, even though some of the episodes can get dark.

I'll go for it if it was a loli :/

You're totally right, but I already watched it unfortunately :/ Or fortunately since it's a really, really good show

Yuru Camp and Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san. Since both are iyashikei and feature soothing depictions of things like campire cooking and cuddling in the former case or ear cleaning and bath and bedtime rituals in the latter's.

Back when it was airing, watching weekly Yuru Camp episodes right before going to sleep was probably the most relaxing experience I've ever had. Maybe you could try doing it as well.
Good

idk try Ichigo Mashimaro, just cute loli stuff but it can be charming and cute, if not funny

also i'm watching Aria the animation/natural/origination and I do find that it's nice before-bed material, not very exciting but often charming/touching/cute

yes yuru camp is also another obvious one

There are two anime I would recommend for you, and they should have you sleeping in no time, trust me! They're not particular favourites of mine but there's something very sleep inducing about them both: A Lull in the Sea, and Witch Hunter Robin :D

Have you tried Chamomile tea? Brew a cup of Chamomile for 5 mins - with something over the cup to keep the essential oils in, and then settle down with one of the shows I've just recommended.

A few recommendations:

If you like alcohol, watch Bartender.
If you like music, go for Beck.
If you want some western wannabe action show, Cowboy Bebop is nice (specially with that ending)
Eve no Jikan is also a nice psychological with SoL
Mushishi is also nice to get bored easily

And those would be my best ones. I also tried to keep the melodramatic or dramas out because who likes to go to sleep crying lmao.

Hunter x Hunter (2011). The narrator is pretty much a sleeping pill.

Additionally, if you want to clear your bowel watch a few episodes of SAO.
Stay Home and Wash Your Hands.
Protect Yourself. Protect Your Loved Ones.
Protect Your Community and Help Defeat
Coronavirus.

Mushishi! haha I feel sleepy just watching one episode of it (when I watched it at night), it's like a lullaby and also Natsume's Book of Friends.
Yuru Camp too!

Maybe don't watch anime before going to bed...?

I know I can't do it with plenty of them, otherwise I'll tend to want to watch them to know how they continue and waste precious hours of sleep.
"The problem with defining even an aspect of your personality by something that you like, is that criticism of that product appears to you to be criticism of you personally. I find it to be a very harmful attitude, [...] you can't rationally discuss a product because you've started to define yourself by its very existence."

Mushishi is usually a good pick because nothing happens and it's extremely boring so it's easy to fall asleep watching. Same with most iyashikei anime for that matter

All of these anime have a really relaxing vibe, setting, and music that can easily make you sleepy. They’re really good too, not just something that’s so trash you’d rather sleep.
- Hunter x Hunter
- Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet
- One Piece

I’ll also recommend listening to anime soundtracks before going to sleep, which is what I do. Something like...
- Ban and Elaine’s Theme OST from The Seven Deadly Sins
- I Like the Ocean Breeze OST from Gargantia
- Glassy Sky (AmaLee) from Tokyo Ghoul
- Lay Your Hands On Me by BOOM BOOM SATELLITES

Thank you for the advice, I will try stopping tea and go for tisane instead :) And I didn't know about the lid, thanks again !
