Anime Guild's Summer 2019 Toriyama Power Ranking Committee Part 2 of 4 This is an anime about street dancing on fire, hold your breath! Summer sign-up sheet for anyone in need of a refresher I wish I could just insert some generic text in here. Alas, I have no generic paragraphs prepared so let's try to get through the intro: on fire. This stage of the season seems to generally be all about the different shows ramping up in their various ways from the cute getting cuter while the shounens insist that they now have more plot but fail to deliver any in a palatable form. Aku is as cute as ever apart from the fact she isn't getting enough screentime and... wait, where's the compliments? Meh, they're there somewhere, especially through the raw scent of adolescence an- huh? I sound creepy now? Please, I'm just talking about pirate boys. So for those of you who are interested in reading submitted comments to this edition's PRC, the names highlighted in blue are truncated comments, you can find the full essay in the "Individual comments" section! *glances at HaXX* Next PRC hand-in for all classes is on 9th September! 1 - 71.50 2 - 65.75 3 - 60.25 4 - 55.00 5 - 50.00 6 - 45.25 7 - 40.75 8 - 36.50 9 - 32.50 10 - 28.75 11 - 25.25 12 - 22.00 13 - 19.00 14 - 16.25 15 - 13.75 16 - 11.50 17 - 9.50 18 - 7.75 19 - 6.25 20 - 5.00 Directory Other Classes Summer 2019 Toriyama Power Rankings 1 Summer 2019 Togashi Power Rankings 2 Summer 2019 Oda Power Rankings 2 Summer 2019 Character Power Rankings 2 Spring 2019 Winter 2019 Fall 2018 Summer 2018 Oda Spring 2018 Spring 2018 pt 1 Winter 2018 Fall 2017 Summer 2017 Spring 2017 Winter 2017 Fall 2016 Summer 2016 Spring 2016 Winter 2016 Fall 2015 (OG) Let's hop to it! 1. Vinland Saga (985.75 Points) [Top: 1] [Shift: --] ![]() Jokobo “Uhhh... 3 last episodes are essentially the same thing, they need to start new part of story, preferably RIGHT NOW.” HaXXspetten “Great show. So far it seems to do the manga justice and knowing Studio Wit's track record it'll probably continue to do so. I imagine this being a good starter recommendation for new anime watchers given its atypical setting.” k3ls3yr1ann3 “I am absolutely blown away by WIT studio's execution of this show. Impactful episodes, Thorfinn's character progression and the pacing is very well done. The way the fight scenes are animated and directed are fantastic!” Akuma-chi “Epic, insightful and full of gritty nordic developments... unfortunately when I was watching it. I was very attuned to the show and just kept shitposting the hell out of it. I know, I ruined it for myself :')” BlueSkylark “Not much to say other then last time. Best show of the season by a landslide and we are only at the beginning of the Saga so far.” Ericonator: 1 DrainZ: 1 vlad: 1 BlueSkylark: 1 Screex: 1 KANLen09: 2 HaXXspetten: 2 Yasaal: 2 k3ls3yr1ann3: 2 Alicador: 2 Shuuka: 2 Swtos: 3 Jokobo: 5 LolImMatt: 5 Zerity: 6 Lewd: 12 CatherineLane: 19 2. Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo. (813.5 Points) [Top: 2] [Shift: --] ![]() Jokobo “Dynamic story, but I'm worrying that it can be a bit too dynamic for the character development part. Still, at this moment it is very enjoyable and 'deep' enough for me.” HaXXspetten “Brilliant storytelling, utilizing the literature club as the connection between the club members' lives rather than the focus. An original and awkwardly wholesome depiction of sex within anime. I'd like more anime to take a similar approach.” k3ls3yr1ann3 “I just find this really sweet and funny. Some of the couples I prefer over others. But overall, it's a really enjoyable watch.” Akuma-chi “These girls are so cute, they're not super tropey either, like they have wills of their own. It's such a joy to watch them struggle, think and act in order to persue something that feels so "big" to them.” BlueSkylark “Nuanced Character driven drama about the difficulties of adolescents. Depicted in a somewhat extreme, yet believable way, which is rare for anime.” HaXXspetten: 1 Swtos: 1 CatherineLane: 2 Akuma-chi: 2 BlueSkylark: 2 LolImMatt: 3 Jokobo: 4 Yasaal: 4 vladkob: 4 Ericonator: 6 k3ls3yr1ann3: 6 DrainZ: 9 Screex: 9 KANLen09: 10 Alicia1020: 12 Zerity: 13 Lewd: 16 Alicador: 19 Shuuka: 20 3. Fruits Basket (2019) (720 Points) [Top: 3] [Shift: --] ![]() Jokobo “Just end it and finish my suffering please. Moeblob heroine, boring and dislikeable characters and a story that hasn't moved forward since long time.” HaXXspetten “A rather generic and cliché shoujo romance, possibly due to the source's age. Nonetheless, quite well executed and sometimes that's all an anime needs to carry its own weight.” k3ls3yr1ann3 “Ritchan is now, hands down, my favorite character in this series.” Akuma-chi “Awwmagawsh~ Kisa-san is so adorable and Ritcchan-san reminds me of someone I used to see around at uni, so that was nice. How many of the zodiac left do we got to complete the intro? Will Tohru reach enlightenment before that happens?!” BlueSkylark “Extemly engaging and with a lot of conveyed feelings at it's strongest. Yet almost mundane and trivial at it's weakest. FruBa is a show that flip flops between blandness and greatness.” Yasaal: 1 Alicador: 1 Swtos: 2 vladkob: 2 Screex: 2 Zerity: 3 KANLen09: 4 Alicia1020: 5 BlueSkylark: 6 CatherineLane: 10 HaXXspetten: 10 Akuma-chi: 10 Shuuka: 11 DrainZ: 13 Ericonator: 16 k3ls3yr1ann3: 16 Lewd: 17 Jokobo: 19 4. Kimetsu no Yaiba (618.25 Points) [Top: 4] [Shift: +2] ![]() k3ls3yr1ann3 “This art over the last few episodes has been superb! Especially in Ep 19, I give major props to UFOtable for breathing life into some of the best early fight scenes of the manga. Six more episodes to go and I'm really hoping it gets green-lit for a second season.” Akuma-chi “Oh. My. GOD. The plot armour is thick (sorry, no thicc)! But the hype is real, the storytelling doubly so (except when not), and the villains aren't entirely chumps.” BlueSkylark “Standard shounen. A lot of fight scenes, quirky sidekicks that are mainly there to provide comedy and some shallow message about the importance of human(demon) connections. Oh and some convenient plot devices and timings. Still looks good though.” KANLen09: 1 k3ls3yr1ann3: 1 DrainZ: 2 Screex: 3 CatherineLane: 4 Alicia1020: 4 Shuuka: 5 LolImMatt: 6 Akuma-chi: 7 Yasaal: 9 vladkob: 9 Zerity: 10 BlueSkylark: 17 5. Enen no Shouboutai (575.5 Points) [Top: 4] [Shift: -1] ![]() Jokobo “Oh, they're starting to show the shounen parts, fighting between each division etc.” HaXXspetten “The animation is nice... but as someone who isn't a battle shounen fan, this is just another fairly generic battle shounen in the end.” k3ls3yr1ann3 “Was it just me, or did it feel like there was a lot of use of dramatic still shots in episode 6? I understand wanting to make a point, but it really hurt the flow of the fights in my opinion.” Akuma-chi “Haha... hahahaha... HAHAHAHA!!! Look, this anime is perfect for you if you love good animation and characters so quirky that they are waaaay over the top... because the plot execution sure isn't what you'd be watching it for.” BlueSkylark “Still quirky and gorgeously animated, yet kinda burned out a bit recently. ^^'” Zerity: 1 vladkob: 3 DrainZ: 4 Shuuka: 4 CatherineLane: 5 Lewd: 6 Screex: 7 KANLen09: 8 Alicia1020: 8 BlueSkylark: 9 Alicador: 11 Jokobo: 12 k3ls3yr1ann3: 14 Swtos: 14 LolImMatt: 19 HaXXspetten: 19 6. Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru? (560 Points) [Top: 6] [Shift: +1] ![]() Jokobo “I'm confused about this one... well, IT IS kinda serious about the topic of show, but this fanservice is what rejects me from liking it more.” HaXXspetten “With a lack of interest in gym training, Dumbbell is a bit difficult for me to relate to. The appeal is mostly from the characters and comedy which make it... just about passable.” Akuma-chi “For psuedo fitness and health gurus like me, we can never tire of this show. I don't know how to feel about Hibiki's selective monstrous strength talent however. Not meant to be false expectations but might for some...” BlueSkylark “This show is as standard as a comedy can be. It is entertaining and over the top sure, but the gags run it's course after a while and it's hard keeping up with it.” CatherineLane: 3 Alicia1020: 3 Swtos: 4 DrainZ: 5 Yasaal: 6 KANLen09: 7 Zerity: 7 vladkob: 8 Ericonator: 9 Akuma-chi: 9 Lewd: 10 LolImMatt: 14 HaXXspetten: 14 BlueSkylark: 14 Jokobo: 16 k3ls3yr1ann3: 17 Alicador: 18 7. Kanata no Astra (515.75 Points) [Top: 5] [Shift: -2] ![]() Jokobo “Okey, so I don't have a slightest idea who's the traitor right now, but that's why I'm even more interested in the plot.” HaXXspetten “I want to like this anime, but its characters lack rationality and the poorly researched setting wastes its premise. I can't help but enjoy a show about space exploration as a concept, but hoped for something more.” k3ls3yr1ann3 “Aries' mother is legit the only one out of these teens parents that has faith in her child. I am legit repulsed by their lack of caring for their offspring. I hope they make it back to earth just so they can rub it in their parents faces.” Akuma-chi “Getting used to dumb is good for my enjoyment of this show. Although it has tried to establish a more tense atmosphere in recent episodes, they then turn around and slap it around the back of the head.” BlueSkylark “Weird case. Likable characters, but the story is so far-fetched with it's logic. It feels really forced in a lot of situations.” CatherineLane: 1 Alicia1020: 1 KANLen09: 5 Screex: 5 Shuuka: 7 Zerity: 8 Alicador: 9 Jokobo: 11 HaXXspetten: 11 k3ls3yr1ann3: 11 BlueSkylark: 13 DrainZ: 14 Yasaal: 15 vladkob: 16 LolImMatt: 18 Ericonator: 18 Swtos: 19 Lewd: 20 8. Given (508 Points) [Top: 8] [Shift: --] ![]() k3ls3yr1ann3 “Mafuyu is such a misunderstood cinnamon roll! Leaves me tearing up when he tries to reason through his grief. The OSTs really bring some of these scenes together; it's very well placed and timed. Definitely picking up the manga. Use of the CG is a bit more noticeable the more I watch.” HaXXspetten “Quite slow-paced but also very believable. I like the characters in general, and although it still feels like we've barely scratched the surface of what Given is actually about, we're at least starting to get into the meat of it.” Akuma-chi “Oh, that's an interesting reveal. It's also really nice to learn more about the band and general band/guitar related things as well as their shifting dynamic from Mafuyu's intro. Not sure where they're going to go from the end of the last ep.” LolImMatt: 1 k3ls3yr1ann3: 3 Zerity: 5 HaXXspetten: 5 KANLen09: 6 CatherineLane: 6 Alicia1020: 6 Shuuka: 6 DrainZ: 8 vladkob: 11 Alicador: 12 Akuma-chi: 16 9. Dr. Stone (457.75 Points) [Top: 9] [Shift: --] ![]() Jokobo “Oh, the potential of this show was neglected sooo much. I'm starting to think of it like Tate no Yuusha: good plot outline, but the characters are destroying it completely. ” HaXXspetten “An uninspiring beginning to the show, but ep 7 has made me feel more positive about the show's future. This might turn out more reminiscent of Slime's civ building than the scientific anime I had in mind, but still looking forward to it.” k3ls3yr1ann3 “I'll eat my words when it comes to my faith that it would stay in my top spot this season. I still thoroughly enjoy this story, and thus far it's staying true to the source material. It just lacks that 'oomph' factor but, it does have one of the better BGM tracks this season.” Akuma-chi “Not only did I realise what Dr. Stone was about and forgave it for all the weakness I said it had... but it has started going in a much better direction. Characters are still rather marmite though.” BlueSkylark “Got better since the direction changed an episode ago. So, mainly judging what it has done previously: cheap flashbacks, extreme power fantasy and overly serious for what it is. So far, plays out like every grade schoolers survival fantasy.” KANLen09: 3 Screex: 4 k3ls3yr1ann3: 5 vladkob: 5 DrainZ: 6 CatherineLane: 9 Shuuka: 9 Alicia1020: 10 Alicador: 10 Yasaal: 11 HaXXspetten: 15 Akuma-chi: 15 Jokobo: 17 Lewd: 19 BlueSkylark: 19 10. Machikado Mazoku (427 Points) [Top: 10] [Shift: +5] ![]() Jokobo “Thats strange, I don't even remember what happened in the latest episode... but I know that it was quite enjoyable.” HaXXspetten “Feels kind of like a slightly more down-to-Earth version of Gabriel DropOut. Not quite as good mind you but still a fun show all-round.” k3ls3yr1ann3 “Everything about this is just exceedingly cute.” Akuma-chi “Oh god, this is too damn cute. I love the way they both improve each other in sometimes unexpected ways. Shamiko is too cute! And their dynamic is as perfect as it gets xD” BlueSkylark “In terms of pure enjoyment this would be my Number 1. Great comedy, with it's 4th wall breaking and parody of the Mahou Shoujo elements. Oh and Shamiko is precious.” Akuma-chi: 3 Ericonator: 4 Lewd: 4 BlueSkylark: 4 HaXXspetten: 6 vladkob: 7 Yasaal: 8 KANLen09: 12 LolImMatt: 12 Jokobo: 15 Swtos: 15 k3ls3yr1ann3: 18 11. Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator (399.5 Points) [Top: 10] [Shift: -1] ![]() Jokobo “A lot more linear than Index <3 At least I understand whats going on.” HaXXspetten “Watching this right after Index III is part irony, part hilarity. The difference in enjoyment value is pretty staggering. That said it's still not as good as Railgun at least but until the third season of that comes around, I'll take it.” Akuma-chi “Well, I quite like a few of the characters in general but the story itself is taking its time to get into the real meat of it and I just can't bite with only Last Order being cute and Accelerator being Accelerator carrying the show.” Ericonator: 3 HaXXspetten: 4 Alicador: 4 Lewd: 5 Yasaal: 7 Jokobo: 10 CatherineLane: 12 Swtos: 12 vladkob: 13 Akuma-chi: 13 Shuuka: 14 Zerity: 16 12. Cop Craft (388 Points) [Top: 11] [Shift: -1] ![]() Jokobo “A few episodes showing not story-related action, but these episodes still are good for highlighting characters.” k3ls3yr1ann3 “I feel like there's some kind of underlying plot at work. The episodic format isn't helping me put it together though. Is it sad that I really want Tilarna and Kei to develop a romantic relationship by the end of this story, or am I fan-girling too much?” Akuma-chi “It's interesting to see after the shift how the dynamic changes. I'm actually a bit impressed that there was something during the first arc that explains how her character carries into the next one.” BlueSkylark “I rather enjoy this show despite it not having a real red string, but the two mains definitely have good chemistry which is the basis of a buddy cop show.” Lewd: 2 Jokobo: 6 Screex: 6 k3ls3yr1ann3: 8 KANLen09: 9 Yasaal: 10 CatherineLane: 11 Swtos: 11 BlueSkylark: 11 Ericonator: 12 Alicia1020: 13 vladkob: 17 Akuma-chi: 18 13. Mix: Meisei Story (386 Points) [Top: 13] [Shift: +3] ![]() k3ls3yr1ann3 “The fourth wall breaking every episode is beyond hilarious!” Akuma-chi “Really cute how Sou compares the dynamic between Haruka and him to his and Tou-chan's. Also there's been more focus on the side characters lately, while everything including breaking the 4th wall has to do with Otomi xD” Akuma-chi: 1 Yasaal: 3 Alicador: 3 Zerity: 4 Ericonator: 5 LolImMatt: 10 k3ls3yr1ann3: 12 vladkob: 12 CatherineLane: 14 14. Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san 2 (343 Points) [Top: 12] [Shift: -2] ![]() Jokobo “Teasing is something which probably will never bore me. There is one thing that annoys me sometimes - the fact that Takagi often knows something "because of plot".” HaXXspetten “Takagi may be one of the most likable anime girls in recent years but, the repetitive nature of the show with episodes you can't pace yourself makes them rather dull to watch. So I'm only watching for Takagi now.” Lewd: 1 Jokobo: 2 Zerity: 2 Alicia1020: 7 Screex: 10 KANLen09: 11 HaXXspetten: 12 Ericonator: 15 LolImMatt: 17 15. The comedy is all what matters in this kind of show, but it is very unsatisfying for my taste.” HaXXspetten “This is essentially Aho Girl with more screen time, more variety and even better comedy. Easily the best comedy of the season and probably the most underrated Summer anime if you ask me.” k3ls3yr1ann3 “This is hands down my favorite comedy of the season!” Akuma-chi “Sometimes I'm not sure what I'm giggling about. Worst of all, Baka (at this point actual names are irrelevant, but iirc her fam name starts with a Ta) is who I aspire to be... but let's not go there...” BlueSkylark “Still the hilariously funny skit comedy that it was at the start of the season. Still really dialogue heavy. Overall one of the best pure comedies this season.” Ericonator: 2 HaXXspetten: 3 Akuma-chi: 5 vladkob: 6 BlueSkylark: 8 k3ls3yr1ann3: 9 Alicia1020: 14 Yasaal: 16 Jokobo: 18 16. I hope they do something with the unexplored potential in the AI-aspect of the universe before the end.” KANLen09 “I feel like this show is really playing up the dramatic edge lately. It just isn't appealing to me as well as it was in the first half.” Akuma-chi “I have nothing to say :akarishrug:” DrainZ: 3 Alicador: 5 Swtos: 8 Jokobo: 9 Shuuka: 10 LolImMatt: 11 KENLen09: 13 k3ls3yr1ann3: 13 vladkob: 15 HaXXspetten: 16 CatherineLane: 18 17. However I highly doubt it will reach a satisfying conclusion overall.” Shuuka: 3 CatherineLane: 7 Screex: 8 BlueSkylark: 10 DrainZ: 12 Jokobo: 13 Yasaal: 14 Alicia1020: 15 Zerity: 17 Swtos: 17 KANLen09: 18 vladkob: 18 Akuma-chi: 20 18. Add in engaging characters and well paced storytelling and I'm hooked. This is also probably my 2nd favorite choice of color palette out of this round of seasonals next to Kimetsu.” Akuma-chi “Vividly pleasing to watch. I liked the negotiations but execution of them could be more polished. Noticed that apart from how Oda developed, certain threads of previous stories could be left behind, but overall still a fantastic show.” BlueSkylark “Great historical drama. Although the life of Oda Nobunaga is probably the most overused in anime. This iteration still stands out, with a great charismatic lead character and a great supporting cast.” BlueSkylark: 5 Akuma-chi: 6 LolImMatt: 7 Swtos: 9 k3ls3yr1ann3: 10 Lewd: 14 Zerity: 15 Alicador: 15 CatherineLane: 16 KANLen09: 19 19. It's like going into a mafia game like Town of Salem without realising you've gone into one until you suddenly stop and think about it.” BlueSkylark “Why the hell has this show such a low score? 2nd favorite darker Mahou Shoujo show after Madoka. Extremely good at keeping both suspense and tension up for the entire first half of it's runtime. Only gets better with later episodes.” BlueSkylark: 3 Swtos: 7 Lewd: 9 Akuma-chi: 12 Shuuka: 13 vladkob: 14 KANLen09: 17 Alicia1020: 18 Ericonator: 20 Yasaal: 20 k3ls3yr1ann3: 20 DrainZ: 20 20. It is always nice to see some characters from other series of this franchise. And Rhongomyniad <3” HaXXspetten “Episodic mystery anime are really hard to get into and don't tend to work well. There's a lot to cover per mystery for 20 minutes, and by the end they reveal before you digested everything. The characters and the world is good though.” BlueSkylark “Weird show. Gives of Agatha Christie vibes, especially with the start of it's current arc on the train. Also it finally feels like the story is moving to it's important parts.” Jokobo: 3 Yasaal: 5 Swtos: 5 LolImMatt: 13 Screex: 13 BlueSkylark: 15 HaXXspetten: 17 Honourable Mentions 21. I'm pleased with its development and well, I think I always liked the characters and the setting anyway, since I'm quite easy to please.” BlueSkylark “Still held back by it's lackluster antagonists. They are just bland with mostly a lack of motivation or backstory. Bell and his group on the other hand are still entertaining to watch.” 22. Nakanohito Genome [Jikkyouchuu] (217.5 Points) [Top: 20] [Shift: -2] Jokobo “The part with this big grandpa thing was kinda boring, but the latest episode has returned to its previous quality.” k3ls3yr1ann3 “That was an excessively long panning scene in the dungeon during episode 6.” Akuma-chi “Alpaca, alpaca, alpaca-saaaan~ I just wanted to say that. It's interesting how not-in-your face everyone's motivations are surfacing while being fairly obvious (when they are meant to be). It's also got a lot of bizzare humour.” 23. Sounan Desu ka? (182.25 Points) [Top: 23] [Shift: +6] HaXXspetten “For such an extremely morbid and depressing setting, the execution sure is light-hearted. It somehow works, although the comedy isn't particularly entertaining. Works well as an experiment and the survival tips are quite real.” Akuma-chi “It's a surprisingly relaxing show despite its subject matter. The way that it can throw around different moods and yet still keep it cute but with ample character development and fun times is generally pleasant.” BlueSkylark “Somewhat funny, yet still decently respectful to it's core survival aspects. Overall a pleasant show to watch yet nothing even remotly outstanding.” 24. Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka? (178.75 Points) [Top: 21] [Shift: --] HaXXspetten “Compared to the manga, the art in the anime leaves something to be desired. But the over-the-top romcom with its melting pot of wacky characters is ridiculous as ever. Not quite good writing, but full of fun and interesting scenarios.” Akuma-chi “This just gets messier and messier by the week... but not Gamers messy. And MC-kun now has something of an ally, or perhaps more of a confidant, and I feel a little relief with him. I'm sure everything will go wrong immediately though xD” 25. Uchi no Ko no Tame naraba, Ore wa Moshikashitara Maou mo (175.25 Points) [Top: 19] [Shift: -6] HaXXspetten “Cute girl? Yes. Mediocre anime? Also yes. Which wins over? Unfortunately the mediocre anime part does: Dale is extremely annoying, lacks comedy, lacks story. Never been a fan of iyashikei shows and this is no exception.” k3ls3yr1ann3 “Latina has it bad for Dale. Why is it so awkward, yet cute? I'm not a fan of the art inconsistency, especially when it comes to character body sizes in concern with one another.” Akuma-chi “The recent episodes have changed the environment somewhat and it's refreshing to see Dale not constantly be annoying and the story try to expand on Latina's history.” BlueSkylark “Dale is the most annoying character of the Season so far. Like he literally makes we want to stop the stream, when he appears. Latina is cute, but that's about all this show has to offer.” |

Cop Craft - A few episodes showing not story-related action, but these episodes still are good for hightlighting characters. Bem - Can't say anything new because there wasn't even a single episode out since last hand-in... kinda sad. Nakanohito Genome [Jikkyouchuu] - The part with this big grandpa thing was kinda boring, but the latest episode has returned to its previous quality. Carole & Tuesday - I think that they don't know what to do with the story right now, cause last ~2-3 episodes was about side characters which I'm not really fond of... Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator - A lot more linear than Index <3 At least I understand whats going on. Kanata no Astra - Okey, so I don't have a slightest idea who's the traitor right now, but thats why I'm even more interested in the plot. Enen no Shouboutai - oh, they're starting to show the shounen parts, fighting between each division etc. Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e - here we go again, he story has looped and started again, strange approach for the 12-episode anime but okey. Tsuujou Kougeki ga Zentai Kougeki de Ni-kai Kougeki no Okaasan wa Suki Desu ka? - THE POWER OF MOM IS TOO OP. But hey, it is positively OP, which surprised me cause I cannot stand the OP characters in Isekai animes. Machikado Mazoku - Thats strange, I don't even remember what happened in the latest episode... but I know that it was quite enjoyable. Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru? - I'm confused about this one... well, IT IS kinda serious about the topic of show, but this fanservice is what rejects me from liking it more. Dr. Stone - oh, the potential of this show was neglected sooo much. I'm starting to think of it like Tate no Yuusha, good plot outline, but the characters are destroying it completely. Joshikousei no Mudazukai - definitely not my humour type, seems like Asobi Asobase 2.0. The comedy is all what matters in this kind of show, but it is very unsatisfying for my taste. Fruits Basket (2019) - just end it and finish my suffering please. Moeblob heroine, boring and dislikeable characters and a story that hasn't moved forward since long time. Re:Stage! Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo. This is just great storytelling in general. For starters, merely having a club setup without actually being a club anime is a great setup because it enables the show to have numerous plotlines going on at the same time with the various members individually and the literature club simply serves as the logical way to connect them all on a daily basis. That way the anime doesn't actually need to have a protagonist whilst still being a character-driven story. That, and perhaps more importantly Araburu is surprisingly original and wholesome. I can't recall the last time I saw an anime that was literally about sex that was neither ecchi or overdramatised. It's awkward but in a good way because it's a very relatable experience throughout. I'd like to see more anime along these lines in general Vinland Saga Seeing as I've already read the manga, I can't say I'm really hyped to watch Vinland Saga every week but nevertheless it's still a great show. Definitely not the average setting for an anime. So far it seems to do the manga justice and knowing Studio Wit's track record I don't really have any reason to believe that's going to change anytime soon either. I could also imagine this being a good starter recommendation for new anime watchers in the future considering its setting and themes Joshikousei no Mudazukai Imagine that you took Aho Girl and gave it more screen time, more variety and even better comedy. That's more or less what Joshikousei no Mudazukai is. Easily the best comedy of the season; hilarious anime in general and probably the most underrated Summer anime if you ask me Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator Watching this right after Index III is part irony, part hilarity. The difference in enjoyment value is pretty staggering. That said it's still not as good as Railgun at least but until the third season of that comes around, I'll take it Given Quite slow-paced but also very believable. I like the characters in general, and although it still feels like we've barely scratched the surface of what Given is actually about, we're at least starting to get into the meat of it Machikado Mazoku Feels kind of like a slightly more down-to-Earth version of Gabriel DropOut. Not quite as good mind you but still a fun show all-round Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka? The production value certainly leaves a lot to be desired when compared to the art of the manga unfortunately, but that aside, it's still the same ridiculous over-the-top romcom, filled to the brim with wacky characters. It's not exactly what I'd call good writing but it makes for a lot of fun and interesting scenarios. Stupid but entertaining Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka II Pacing will always feel a bit off in LN adaptations and this is no exception, but that aside we're just about to get into some of the better arcs of the novel so I'm looking forward to seeing how those will be depicted at least Mo Dao Zu Shi 2 I must admit that sometimes it can be a bit difficult to keep up with everything that's happening in this anime if you're not paying attention, but either way it's a very interesting universe with quite likeable characters. I'm not sure what the eventual end goal is going to be but I'm enjoying the ride there so far at least Fruits Basket (2019) I guess it's probably because of the manga's age but Fruits Basket certainly feels a bit generic as a shoujo romance story when watched in 2019. However, that doesn't mean it's bad. It's cliché but quite well executed and sometimes that's all an anime needs to carry its own weight Kanata no Astra I really wanted to like this anime. I love the premise, setting and just the general idea of it, but there really is no denying that the actual writing of Astra is... extremely lackluster. The whole story just feels very poorly researched and the characters don't come across as particularly rational either. At this point I guess I'm just sticking it out to see if the eventual explanations will be able to redeem some of the issues of the story or if it'll turn out to be a trainwreck in the end. Nevertheless, I still can't help but enjoy watching it just because of how much the mere idea of space exploration appeals to me conceptually, but I was really hoping that Astra would've been something more than this Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san 2 I don't really know where to rank this anime anymore. It's not that the content matter is getting any worse, and I still think that Takagi is one of the most likeable anime girls in recent years, but ultimately the problem with this series is simply that it's... very repetitive by design. It's more forgivable in the manga where you can just read a new chapter once per week in two minutes but it feels more sluggish going through the anime episodes at this point. I guess I'm still watching it just because of how adorable Takagi is as a character but I can't deny that the episodes themselves are a little bit dull to watch at this point Kono Yo No Hate de Koi wa Utau Shoujo YU-NO This is also hard to rank considering that the main part of its appeal and enjoyment comes from external factors due to YU-NO's legacy and influence on the industry rather than the actual content matter of the show itself. That is not to say that I think the anime itself is bad, it's just not that great either. It is certainly interesting seeing anime history unfolding before your eyes though Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru? If I was actually interested in gym training I think I might've enjoyed this anime more, but as is Dumbbell is a bit difficult for me to relate to. The only real appeal of it thus has to come from the characters themselves and the comedy, and it does an okay job in that aspect but hardly anything to write home about. So it's passable but I probably wouldn't go around recommending it to people Dr. Stone The first six episodes of Dr Stone was in my opinion quite uninspiring as it just felt like there wasn't really much potential in the kind of direction that the story was seemingly going. It just felt like wasted potential of an otherwise interesting premise. However, after the most recent episode (7), for the first time I felt more positive about the show's future. I think it could end up becoming a quite different show from the more scientific anime I originally expected and hoped it to be and perhaps more in line with the civilization building aspect of Slime earlier this year. That turned out to be a very enjoyable experience after all, and although this setting is a bit different, I can see it working here too. Fingers crossed Carole & Tuesday I'm not sure what to feel about Carole & Tuesday really. It's like many of the episodes end up feeling unnecessary to the main narrative, and whenever it does stick to the main narrative there are still things that end up bothering you along the way. There is still unexplored potential in the AI-aspect of the universe however so I hope they end up doing something more with that before the end Lord El-Melloi II Sei no Jikenbo: Rail Zeppelin Grace Note This one is just really hard to get into. I've always thought that conceptually speaking, episodic mystery anime just don't work out very well. In order to write a compelling mystery you need time. You have to first present the background, setting and details about the case, then look for clues and simultaneously give the viewers their own fair chance at figuring things out before eventually revealing the truth of it all and wrapping the case up. There are a lot of things to cover here and if the mystery is also to be complex enough to actually be interesting in the first place then you quite simply need more time than just a 20-something-minute anime episode. I've seen it attempted in many different anime and I'm not sure if it's ended up impressing me even once when it's been done episodically. It's just a bad combination in general. The only things about this show I can thus label as positives are the characters and maybe the world itself, but from a narrative perspective it doesn't really accomplish anything of note Sounan Desu ka? Weird combination of an extremely morbid, depressing setting and some very light-hearted execution. Yet somehow... it sort of works. The survival tips and techniques are certainly real at least. As a comedy it doesn't really impress much though and there doesn't seem to be much of an end goal to the show other than for the girls to simply continue surviving. Sounan Desu ka feels like a conceptual experiment that surprisingly enough worked, but even so it's not really all that entertaining Enen no Shouboutai Well the animation is nice and all, and if you're a battle shounen fan then I guess this isn't so bad. Unfortunately I'm not one of them and thus I can't really find this to be much more than just another fairly generic battle shounen in the end Uchi no Ko no Tame naraba, Ore wa Moshikashitara Maou mo Taoseru kamo Shirenai. Can the cuteness of a single girl save what is otherwise a totally mediocre anime? Sometimes maybe, but not in this case. Latina is adorable for sure but on the other hand Dale is extremely annoying and the whole show just feels kind of pointless. There's little to no comedy and no real semblance of story either. I guess it's just another one of those feel-good iyashikei shows despite being a LN-adaptation (that's pretty damn rare to see), but those kinds of anime have never done it for me and this is no exception. It's just boring, plain and simple Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou Well after the horrendous opening episode, Arifureta has certainly improved now that it makes a bit more sense. However, that isn't really saying much. I still feel like this anime could have been decent though if the production wasn't such a trainwreck. The inexcusable execution of the story's prologue and the awful CGI really drag down what could otherwise have been a somewhat interesting idea. But as is, it's just difficult to really care when it all feels so tainted. At least it's been getting a bit better so if it maintains that trend then maybe it can at least reach average status one day. We'll see Tejina-senpai If Joshikousei no Mudazukai is the anime this season where all the gags land, then Tejina-senpai is the one where all the gags miss. Really the only positive to come out of this anime is all its meme potential with the main girl, but as a comedy short it fails quite miserably because it simply isn't funny whatsoever. And therefore there is no real reason to watch it anymore because that's all the content it has Tsuujou Kougeki ga Zentai Kougeki de Ni-kai Kougeki no Okaasan wa Suki Desu ka? Making an anime based on the idea of one single joke isn't really a good idea. It might be funny for the first five minutes but after that it's gotten old already. So when you have to sit through 12 whole episodes of it, it becomes nothing but torture. Seriously the protagonist is a spoiled brat, the side characters and antagonists feel completely pointless, and Mamako thus becomes the only relevant character in the entire show. But that also leaves her with no one to have any sort of worthwhile interaction with. Maybe that's why they insist on lewding her every so often on camera since that's at least something that can be accomplished with nothing but her body. Well then it's just too bad that she's the MC's damn mom so if you want people to self-insert onto the protagonist as usual then I'm just gonna nope the fuck out of that idea. Seriously though this whole show is just bad from a design standpoint. If you really wanted to make an isekai about a milf then you should've just made it a hentai OVA series and be done with it. That's the undeniable truth here. Not that I would've watched it anyway mind you but it'd make more sense from a writing standpoint at least @k3ls3yr1ann3 1. Kimetsu no Yaiba (2nd cour) 2. Kimetsu no Yaiba (2nd cour) [prev. 4] This art over the last few episodes has been superb! Especially in Ep 19, I give major props to UFOtable for breathing life into some of the best early fight scenes of the manga. Six more episodes to go and I'm really hoping it gets green-lit for a second season. 2. Vinland Saga [prev. 5] I am absolutely blown away by WIT studio and how they've displayed this story to us. Every episode has been impactful. Thorfinn's progression from naive child to a revenge driven adolescent is very well done. The pacing is handled well, and the way the fight scenes are animated and directed is fantastic! 3. Given [same] Mafuyu is just a misunderstood little cinnamon roll! Seriously, though, some of these scenes where he's trying to reason through his grief are extremely impactful and leave me tearing up. The music in the OSTs really bring some of these scenes together; it's very well placed and timed. Definitely going to be picking up the manga once the anime ends. The use of the CG is becoming a bit more noticeable the longer I watch this. 4. Mo Dao Zu Shi 2 [New to List] My Chinese cultivation anime is back, and the boys and scenery are just as beautiful as I remember them! I'm glad to see this is picking up from the current time-line, though I'm sure we'll see our share of flashbacks further in the show. 5. Dr. Stone [prev. 1] Okay, I'll admit it, I ate my words when it came to my love of this Shounen, and my faith that it would stay in the top spot this season. I still thoroughly enjoy this story, and I think that thus far it's staying true to the source material. It's just lacking that 'oomph' factor that are carrying Vinland and Kimetsu at the moment. I will say it has one of the better background music tracks this season. 6. Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo. [prev. 7] I just find this really sweet and funny. Some of the couple's I prefer over others. But over all, it's a really enjoyable watch. 7. Diamond no Ace: Act II (2nd cour) [prev. 6] Really loving the character development we're seeing in the current first years. 8. Cop Craft [prev. 2] I feel like there's some kind of underlying plot at work, but the way they're making this show an episodic story telling isn't helping me as a viewer put it together. Is it sad that I really want Tilarna and Kei to actually develop a romantic relationship by the end of this story? Or am I fan-girling too much? 9. Joshikausei no Mudazukai [prev. 23] This is hands down my favorite comedy of the season! 10. Kochouki: Wakaki Nobunaga [prev. 18] There's just something about shows from the historical genre I find appealing. Add in the engaging characters and we'll paced story telling and I'm hooked. This is also probably my 2nd favorite choice of color palette out of this round of seasonals next to Kimetsu. 11. Kanata no Astra [prev. 13] Aries mother is legit the only one out of these stranded teens parents that genuinely has faith in her child. Never before have I met a group of characters that legit made me repulsed by their lack of caring for their offspring. I genuinely hope they make it back to earth just so they can rub it in their parents faces. 12. Mix (2nd cour) [prev. 11] The fourth wall breaking every episode is beyond hilarious! 13. Carole and Tuesday (2nd cour) [prev. 12] I feel like this show is really playing up the dramatic edge lately. It just isn't appealing to me as well as it was in the first half. 14. Enen no Shouboutai [prev. 9] Was it just me, or did it feel like there was a lot of use of dramatic still shots in episode 6? I understand wanting to make a point, but it really hurt the flow of the fights in my opinion. 15. Kono Yo no Hate de Koi wo Utau Shoujo YU-NO (2nd cour) [prev. 17] Did this suddenly turn into an Isekai? Guess I should have seen that coming with the whole dimension hopping thing. 16. Pirikarako-chan 29 Isekai Cheat Magician 1 Mix: Meisei Story Really cute how Sou compares the dynamic between Haruka and him to his and Tou-chan's. Also there's been more focus on the side characters lately, while everything including breaking the 4th wall has to do with Otomi xD 2 Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo These girls are so cute, they're not super tropey either, like they have wills of their own. It's such a joy to watch them struggle, think and act in order to persue something that feels so "big" to them. 3 Machikado Mazoku Oh god, this is too damn cute. I love the way they both improve each other in sometimes unexpected ways. Shamiko is too cute! And their dynamic is as perfect as it gets xD 4 Maou-sama, Retry! This is the gift that keeps on giving, literally... and in show. For an isekaifag like me, this is a comedy gold mine: it's so deliberately bad that any devout watcher of trash isekais cannot help but feel an intrinsic connection to this. 5 Joshikousei no Mudazukai Sometimes I'm not sure what I'm giggling about. Worst of all, Baka (at this point actual names are irrelevant, but iirc her fam name starts with a Ta) is who I aspire to be... but let's not go there... 6 Kochouki: Wakaki Nobunaga Vividly pleasing to watch. I liked the negotiations but execution of them could be more polished. Noticed that apart from how Oda developed, certain threads of previous stories could be left behind, but overall still a fantastic show. 7 Kimetsu no Yaiba Oh. My. GOD. The plot armour is thick (sorry, no thicc)! But the hype is real, the storytelling doubly so (except when not), and the villains aren't entirely chumps. ? Vinland Saga Epic, insightful and full of gritty nordic developments... unfortunately when I was watching it. I was very attuned to the show and just kept shitposting the hell out of it. I know, I ruined it for myself :') 8 Sounan Desu ka? It's a surprisingly relaxing show despite its subject matter. The way that it can throw around different moods and yet still keep it cute but with ample character development and fun times is generally pleasant. 9 Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru? For psuedo fitness and health gurus like me, we can never tire of this show. I don't know how to feel about Hibiki's selective monstrous strength talent however. Not meant to be false expectations but might for some... 10 Fruits Basket (2019) Awwmagawsh~ Kisa-san is so adorable and Ritcchan-san reminds me of someone I used to see around at uni, so that was nice. How many of the zodiac left do we got to complete the intro? Will Tohru reach enlightenment before that happens?! 11 Re:Stage Dream Days♪ These girls are all so cute, their skillset is nicely complimentary and I dunno, just generally seeing an idol anime just gives me life anyway, I didn't think this was possible but I have the OP stuck in my head as I write. 12 Granbelm It feels like the dark underbelly of this show is gradually making itself known. It's like going into a mafia game like Town of Salem without realising you've gone into one until you suddenly stop and think about it. 13 Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator Well, I quite like a few of the characters in general but the story itself is taking its time to get into the real meat of it and I just can't bite with only Last Order being cute and Accelerator being Accelerator carrying the show. 14 Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka? This just gets messier and messier by the week... but not Gamers messy. And MC-kun now has something of an ally, or perhaps more of a confidant, and I feel a little relief with him. I'm sure everything will go wrong immediately though xD 15 Dr. Stone Not only did I realise what Dr. Stone was about and forgave it for all the weakness I said it had... but it has started going in a much better direction. Characters are still rather marmite though. 16 Given Oh, that's an interesting reveal. It's also really nice to learn more about the band and general band/guitar related things as well as their shifting dynamic from Mafuyu's intro. Not sure where they're going to go from the end of the last ep. 17 Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka II Things are moving fast but in a way that I don't mind at all. I'm pleased with its development and well, I think I always liked the characters and the setting anyway, since I'm quite easy to please. 18 Cop Craft It's interesting to see after the shift how the dynamic changes. I'm actually a bit impressed that there was something during the first arc that explains how her character carries into the next one. 19 Nakanohito Genome [Jikkyouchuu] Alpaca, alpaca, alpaca-saaaan~ I just wanted to say that. It's interesting how not-in-your face everyone's motivations are surfacing while being fairly obvious (when they are meant to be). It's also got a lot of bizzare humour. 20 Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e So the story took a bit of a turn in a different direction in the latest developments, somewhat away from the more episodic approach and much character devlopment has been had, in a few different ways. 21 Kono Yo No Hate de Koi wa Utau Shoujo YU-NO With the beginning of the new arc, the pacing feels like it slows right the heck down, yet for all intents and purposes is going quicker than ever. I suppose here with this anime... time is relative. 22 Uchi no Ko no Tame naraba, Ore wa Moshikashitara Maou mo Taoseru kamo Shirenai. The recent episodes have changed the environment somewhat and it's refreshing to see Dale not constantly be annoying and the story try to expand on Latina's history. 23 Enen no Shouboutai Haha... hahahaha... HAHAHAHA!!! Look, this anime is perfect for you if you love good animation and characters so quirky that they are waaaay over the top... because the plot execution sure isn't what you'd be watching it for. 24 Arifureta Shokugyou The CG of the monsters are really, really awkward to look at. I guess I kinda like the dynamic of the two mains and the last episode was pretty cute. 25 Kanata no Astra Getting used to dumb is good for my enjoyment of this show. Although it has tried to establish a more tense atsmosphere in recent episodes, they then turn around and slap it around the back of the head. 26 Tsuujou Kougeki ga Zentai Kougeki de Ni-kai Kougeki no Okaasan wa Suki Desu ka? The running gags have established themselves and stopped feeling as cringy (and instead gotten more boring) and the absurdity is really starting to come through, as well as the occasional feelings of frustration. 27 Carole & Tuesday I have nothing to say :akarishrug: 28 Hakata Mentai! Pirikarako-chan Absurd as always. Some of the punchlines land, some of them don't, and I have nightmares of ramen now. 29 Isekai Cheat Magician Bland, bland, bland. Just copy and paste the comment from last time zzzzz... @BlueSkylark 1. Vinland Saga 2. Maidens of the Savage Season 3. Granbelm 4. Machikado Mazoku 5. Kochouki: Wakaki Nobunaga 6. Fruits Basket 7. Re: Stage! 8. Joshikousei no Mudazukai 9. Enen no Shouboutai 10. To the abandoned Sacred Beasts 11. Cop Craft 12. Bem 13. Kanata no Astra 14. Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru ? 15. Lord El-Melloi II 16. Danmachi S2 17. Kimetsu no Yaiba 18. Sounan desu ka ? 19. Dr.Stone 20. Okaa-sama Online 21. Maou-sama, Retry 22. Uchi no Musume 1. Vinland Saga Not much to say other then last time. Best show of the season by a landslide and we are only at the beginning of the Saga so far. 2. Maidens of the Savage Season Nuanced Character driven drama about the difficulties of adolescents. Depicted in a somewhat extreme, yet believable way, which is rare for anime. 3. Granbelm Why the hell has this show such a low score. 2nd favorite darker Mahou Shoujo show after Madoka. Extremly good at keeping both suspense and tension up for the entire first half of it's runtime. Only gets better with later episodes. 4. Machikado Mazoku In terms of pure enjoyment this would be my Number 1. Great comedy, with it's 4th wall breaking and parody of the Mahou Shoujo elements. Oh and Shamiko is precious. 5. Kochouki: Wakaki Nobunaga Great historical drama. Allthough the life of Oda Nobunaga is probably the most overused in anime. This itteration still stands out, with a great charismatic lead character and a great supporting cast. 6. Fruits Basket Extemly engaging and with a lot of convayed feelings at it's strongest. Yet almost mundane and trivial at it's weakest. FruBa is a show that flip flops between blandness and greatness. 7. Re: Stage! I probably place this higher then I should on the basis that I totally didn't expect this to be as good as it is. So far it has shown fun character heartfelt character interactions, smooth 2D animation for the idol sequences, a great understanding of pacing and for the most part interesting and well executed character motivations and backstories. This show is rock solid and definitly the most underappreciated show of the season mainly based on it's genre and the fact that it isn't that much of a novelty concept. 8. Joshikousei no Mudazukai Still the hillariously funny skit comedy that it was at the start of the season. Still really dialogue heavy. Overall one of the best pure comedies this season. 9. Enen no Shouboutai Stll quirky and gorgously animated, yet kinda burned out a bit recently. ^^' 10. To the abandoned Sacred Beasts Plot finally starts to kick into full gear. However I highly doubt it will reach a satisfying conclusion overall. 11. Cop Craft I rather enjoy this show despite it not having a real red string, but the two mains definitly have good chemistry which is the basis of a buddy cop show. 12. Bem Well the delay definitly hurt this show. Ep. 4 wasn't to great either, but for now I give it the benefit of the doubt. 13. Kanata no Astra Weird case. Likeable characters, but the story is so far fetched with it's logic. It feels really forced in a lot of sitatuions. 14. Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru ? This show is as standard as a comedy can be. It is entertaining and over the top sure, but the gags run it's course after a while and it's hard keeping up with it. 15. Lord El-Melloi II Sei no Jikenbo: Rail Zeppelin Grace Note Weird show. Gives of Agatha Christie vibes, especially with the start of it's current arc on the train. Also it finally feels like the story is moving to it's important parts. 16. Danmachi S2 Still held back by it's lackluster antagonists. They are just bland with mostly a lack of motivation or backstory. Bell and his group on the other hand are still entertaining to watch. 17. Kimetsu no Yaiba Standard shounen. A lot of fight scenes, quirky sidekicks that are mainly their to provide comedy and some shallow message about the importance of human(demon) connections. Oh and some convenient plot devices and timings. Still looks good though. 18. Sounan desu ka ? Somewhat funny, yet still decently respectful to it's core survival aspects. Overall a pleasant show to watch yet nothing even remotly outstanding. 19. Dr.Stone Got better since the Village Arc started, however since we are only 1 Episode into that yet, I mainly judge it on what it has done previously, which was not good. Cheap flashbacks to build character. Extreme powerfantasy aspects and overly serious at times for the type of show it is. So far it played out like every grade schoolers survival fantasy. 20. Okaa-sama Online This is bad on so many levels. Yet still somewhat entertaining. Characters are flat. Jokes are repetitive. Pacing is a word that this show doesn't understand. Like it's all over the place. 21. Maou-sama, Retry I probably rate it currently to low, cause I warmed up as of late to it's cheasiness. However still production value is really not that high and overall it is a bit to straight faced at times to be a true parody. 22. Uchi no Musume Dale is the most annoying character of the Season so far. Like he literally makes we want to stop the stream, when he appears. Latina is cute, but that's about all this show has to offer. @KANLen09 1) Kimetsu no Yaiba 2) Vinland Saga 3) Dr. Stone 4) Fruits Basket (2019) 5) Kanata no Astra 6) Given 7) Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru? 8) Enen no Shouboutai 9) Cop Craft 10) Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo. 11) Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san 2 12) Machikado Mazoku 13) Carole and Tuesday 14) Maou-sama, Retry! 15) Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka II 16) Uchi no Ko no Tame naraba, Ore wa Moshikashitara Maou mo Taoseru kamo Shirenai. 17) Granbelm 18) Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e 19) Kochouki: Wakaki Nobunaga 20) Nakanohito Genome [Jikkyouchuu] ~~~Cut-off Point~~~ 21) Kono Yo no Hate de Koi wo Utau Shoujo YU-NO 22) Joshikousei no Mudazukai 23) Sounan Desu ka? 24) Tejina-senpai 25) Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka? 26) Tsuujou Kougeki ga Zentai Kougeki de Ni-kai Kougeki no Okaasan wa Suki Desu ka? 27) Isekai Cheat Magician 28) Bem 29) Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou 30) Try Knights @LolImMatt 1)Given 2)Mo Dao Zu Shi 2 3)Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo. 4)Ensemble Stars! 5)Vinland Saga 6)Kimetsu no Yaiba 7)Kochouki: Wakaki Nobunaga 8)Re:Stage! | OH THESE HAXX COMMENTS. I wish I could do the same next time... or can I? Nevertheless - I'm a bit worried that Kimetsu no Yaiba shifted up. Machikado Mazoku... okey, I can understand that, the first few episodes were very unclear, but Kimetsu no Yaiba is the same crappy show all over. I'm so sad about Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san going down. But well, it is quite monothematic about the content, so I understand that some people can get bored with 2nd season. |

Bro, do you know how many hours I spent cutting them down?! Next time I'll probably not bother cutting them down, they just won't be included in the main body, just the individual comments xD I think I did a good job with my hack and slash job though :P |

| Man, I had a bunch of things to say about these results while I was making the post but then forgot ALL of them. Although with @k3ls3yr1ann3 comment about Astra... well, you'll see why... and I'm sure it'll be pretty soon that you see why this is the case (aka, only Aries' mum gives a flying fuck). |

| Yeah, pretty nice list. 7 of my top 10 shows are in the top 10, I'll take that. Kimetsu no Yaiba shifting up after that great ep 19 is well deserved, and Fruits Basket and Vinland Saga still getting their love too :3 Interesting to see that Nobunaga show rising too, I'm kinda interested in watching it but I can barely keep up with the stuff I'm already watching xD |
