Why not but anime make things more enjoyable in my opinion and you should definitely read part 7 but first finish part 6 even though it's not that much popular among fans, the main protagonist of part 6 is really good too.

You can always wait for the animé, you could begin with 7 because that isn't connected to the previous six parts. Or just read it if you're really impatient, it's worth it anyway

its up to you
to me it doesn't matter since i personally find the manga as equally as enjoyable as the anime adaptation but overall the anime brings more liveliness to the characters and the fight scenes

My friend, it's up to you whether you have will and time to read it. I personally suggest you starting reading it if you want. You can watch anime adaptation after it's gonna be released, but until it happens you might not wait and pick up a source material, which is of course "Stone Ocean" manga.

Part 5 has several episodes left to end, but I couldn't wait and I started reading Part 6 already. ;)

You can read any part in any order. All parts are their own individual stories that may do light references to each other but nothing big.

Go for it, in fact, you can even start right now. Part 6 is the second best part in all JoJo's, you're gonna love it.

You should, to be honest.

Pros:
-Good Jojo
-AMAZING side character (Weather).
-Really good villain with a lot of presence.
-Really enjoyable arcs and good pacing most of the times.
-The last arc is really threatening.
-Annasui.
-A lot of crazy fights.

Cons:
-Sometimes that crazy gets too much crazy. It is the only part that feels over the top, even for Jojo.
-Most of the minor villains are boring or uninteresting.
-The mid part of the series feels like it drags for too long.
-While Stone Ocean have good characters, they lack chemistry together.
-The ending. Some people hate it (I love it).

I mean, it's the next part so yes.

I don't find that knowing what comes next ruins my experience. If anything, it makes me want to see how DP handles certain moments. And they throw in a few changes here and there to keep manga readers on their toes anyway, like The World's time stop not being shown until Joseph realized its power.
