The latter especially cause it seems every time i come into contact with the community, there’s either a fujoshi yaoi ship war or people trying to convince others why X supporting girl is best girl. The Fate fandom also has some pretty interesting waifu wars. It can turn into quite the clusterfuck given the amount of options available in the series. |

I'm going to ignore this sentence for your sake. So, I guess it was my mistake acting on behalf of all Sangwoo and Bum shippers. I agree KS is anything but cute and romantic. And it's definitely not love. It's more like unhealthy codependency. Both of them just too broken and damaged and mentally ill and are just using each other. My definition of shipping is broader and it definitely covers that area too. Shipping doesn't require the pairing to be cute, romantic, or even healthy. Do people who ship Cersei and Jaime (aka Lannicest in Game of Thrones) solely because they think of them as a cute ship lol? I don't think so. People will laugh at you if you say "cute" and "Lannicest" in the same sentence. Do these shippers support incest? Do these shippers support semi-rape? Because there are multiple scenes where Jaime forced himself on Cersei. One of them right after their son died and they did it right beside said son's corpse. Do these shippers support what Jaime did attempting to kill a kid because he witnessed him fucked his own sister (which is the Queen)? Is this ship interesting, entertaning, fascinating? I would say yes. Then again, I can't speak for everyone. Fyi, it's one of the most hated ship, the most controversial, but also quite popular for that in Game of Thrones. I like it for what it is. |
