| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I thought that this episode was alright. :| Nothing special. Just some more of the same; Ichigo and Renji getting smacked around, although Inoue was getting beaten up too for a change... >:O Which is not cool. Though it was a bit of a shocker to learn that Ulquiorra is only #4. o.O |

| good episode. so Ichigo got outright trashed by Ulquiorra. Renji gets pretty trashed too until Ishida shows up, who should match up better against Szayel, but from the preview it looks like ... Grimmjow shows up. Figured Ishida would do something since he was the only one not to meet an Espada so far. Something has to happen soon because odds are heavily stacked with the Espada so far. Why is it none of the espada finish their opponents anyway? isn't it kinda odd to just leave your enemies laying around almost dead in your base? |

| Good episode, but it worries me. The pace has been quickening and the show's becoming enjoyable again, but I hear that it's almost caught up to the manga. Perhaps they will start slowing down the releases a bit... I don't think another filler arc would sit well with me right now. |

| it was an okay episode, but i felt that ichigo's fight with ulquiorra was too short. i wonder what's gonna happen to ichigo, since i dun read the manga, im hoping ichigo do something about this 10 sec hollow mask thing. I wonder what happened to nel after they were slammed into a building those girls who were bullying orihime pissed me off and orihime should have done something about it... |

| The anime is still about 80 chapters behind but it slowed the pace just a little bit then we could probably get a nice flow going. |

| Good episode, the pacing definatly got better, and wow, it's 80 chapters ahead? feels like its almost caught up despite that. As for the bitch duo, dont worry, they get what they deserve later =P |
| The fight between renji, ishida and syazel is going to take so long... And i just realised this is the first time that they're working together! Renji and Ishida i mean. The shinigami golden is so so wrong....and how could a captain NOT know that they were coming...but then it's ukitake after all...lol |

| No, actually bleach manga is only 40 chapters ahead of anime. And also like a half of it covers the fight against nr 8 espada... I really hope they aren't going to put any filler arcs untill the Hueco mundo arc ends, which will definitely happen after it. |

| Can't wait to see Ulquiorra's full potential. Then again, can't wait until Ichigo buffs up a bit. Those few minutes Ichigo can last in the hollow form is starting to tick me off. @Mefist - Depends on your definition of filler. Dragged out fights and pointless chit-chats? Then yeah, its inevitable. Oh well. @Haruhi - Takes up about 2 minutes with the pre-scenes, after stacking 10 episodes with it, you have a whole 20 minutes! Lets them stall for another week -.- |

| I was waiting for Renji and Syazel to notice that Ichigo had been taken down, but perhaps the time frames aren't quite lined up between the two events yet. Next week, Pesche reunites with Dondochakka! |

They should wait for the Hueco Mundo Arc to finish in the Manga. I guess NOW I prefer a filler arc after Hueco Mundo and stop watching Bleach for a few weeks while they do that. | i like tha fact that i think the graphics improved. When ichigo was doing his first hollow strike...its kinda changed a little from cartoon to graphics. |

I doubt that would happen, this isn't Shippuuden after all ;) Here if they want to delay for a bit, they put a few random episodes with little or no relation to the main story, like they did in the mini-filler bit when they fall below hueco mundo in the crystal forrest or something. Anyway, about this episode, I really liked it, the first half at least. Although it ended so... bad (for Ichigo, lol), I'm guessing this is just the beginning of their fight. Hope it keeps up the pace, but to be honest, Bleach rarely dissapointed at this part (except the Bounto bit :P), so I'm hoping for the best and not expecting the worse. |

| Liked the episode: everything exept for renji scene's, he's turning out to be a discrace. He used 2 be so cool in SS arc :/ And damn...emo is only 4 o.0. Team ichigo in deep shit. But i expected this actually. Espada's 6 and higher are 2 strong. Ichigo couldn't even defeat grimmjow who's #6 and has never properly used his sword ( one hand ) or released it o.0. We don't even have 2 start with aizen who whooped ichi/renji's asses in SS with 2 fingers and puts grimmjow 2 the ground with only his reiatsu. Seems hopeless, but i still have faith in ichigo...^^ people that need 2 die really bad: aizens b*tches and sayel grants.....they really do!!!! Next ep: GRIMMJOW XD XD |

I would have thought he'd put up a bit more of a fight, what's with his Bankai becoming completely useless all of a sudden? And well, I never liked Renji, but he was having trouble vs. that stupid big arrancar? wth? It's not like he got seriously injured .. Syazel didn't even touch him ... he was just dodging his attacks the whole time =/. Guess it's all up to Ishida to keep the team alive. |

| haha ya, it feels like the anime is almost on top considering the szayel fight took so long in the manga, and the anime tends to cover those types of fights in only 3ish episodes, oh well, it will be interesting to see where the anime catches up... |

| Ichigo only option is 2 increase the 11 seconds. I still don't like the mask that mutch...it lokks better when you only see have of it. Credit 2 #4emo tho: he's straight 2 the point. | nice episode i guess, looks like all the 5 heros are falling to me ._. i wonder how it will go on :X rukia,ichigo,sado are really really badly injured plus renji still injured the only one that "seems" to be fine is ishida >< and if they were to make until the arrancar that powerfull... isnt it abit hard to defeat them when defeating some of the lousiest rank is enough to almost kill them? :X anyway hope all of them would be fine :D |

| Its been a long time since I was impressed by a Bleach episode. the studio did a marvelous job in animating the "fight" between Ichigo and Ulquiorra. they didn't drag it out like the previous ones. |

Whenever they're weaker they just seem to pointlesly attack the enemy without a plan. |
