Most notably when the last 4 or so episodes took the story/world building that they had done up to that point, and threw it out the window. Well, I've only watched Conception so I guess I got off lucky then. Then again, that imouto show wasn't exactly good either, so maybe I wasn't so lucky after all. |

| Well of those anime I have managed to complete for some reason, there are 3 strong candidates There's the Tokyo Ghoul:re anime, at least the second season but that actually benefited with a serviceable first season so that makes it an honorable mention. There's also Ulysses which was soooo bad that it actually kinda got entertaining to see how bad it can get. I was entertained enough so it becomes another honorable mention. The actual worst anime of 2018 for me is that soulless piece of garbage adaptation of my favorite game, Persona 5 the Animation. Why does a game oozing with style animated in such a forgettable manner? I don't fucking know. Let's forget it happened, please. There's like a ton of shows I didn't complete or just outright dropped in the 1st episode so it's kinda wrong to add it to this conversation. |

| I thought 2018 in general was quite a miserable year for anime. There was one show I watched that I ended up loving, and that's it. Truth be told, I didn't watch everything, but there were little to no shows each season that I gave a crap about. 2018 was the year I really started to feel like most anime coming out were just more and more cheap-looking. Of course visuals aren't anything but I just went "Bleh..." every time I looked at the seasonal charts. Felt like there weren't really any shows for me. |
