It's not that much school stuff, actually. The anime itself is OK, not a masterpiece, but not terrible either.

I've reviewed this a year ago and basically... no its not mostly school. Most of it is action tournaments with at least pinch of romance which is, probably the most developed romance in shows like these with this type of synopsis. It's a good series if you want to have some decent characters, good art/animation, nice music and the entertainment is pretty much on there. Tho it can be quite predictable in cases but for me it was pretty good.

It's definitely worth watching! I wrote a review for this show and rated it 9. There's not much of school life there, and there is actual romance development. The plot isn't anything new, but the show is really well done. As for action, I really loved some fights in this show. There's a lot of them and they can be really interesting. I can really recommend watching Rakudai, I enjoyed it a lot!

If you're relatively new to anime, sure. And if you're really bored and looking for something entertaining, sure.
But beyond that, not really. It isn't bad by any means, but it doesn't do anything noteworthy for someone who's been around for a while.

It's not. If you know how much the main couple's relationship develops in the LN, you will know that it's not a harem.

I disagree somewhat - while the absolute ending was cute, the last arc leading up to the ending completely tanked and destroyed what I considered to have been a half decent action romance

The bad: The pacing is dreadful. The romance is an occasional "Are we gonna have sex yet?" -> "No! Let me be a knight some more first!". Flashbacks and emotional moments are B movie grade - it's like you're watching the characters do a theatrical play inside the anime without practicing acting at all.

The good: Even tho it's unoriginal in many ways (starting with the a la Mahouka setting), the end product is a well made mixture of generic stuff, so it's not boring to watch. Fights look good and dynamic and feel exciting. Animation is good when it counts. The characters are likeable and relatable. Comedy is fun.

IMO it has too many issues to be scored as high as 7.78. However I had more fun watching it than some all rounder series. There are some really cool scenes, so it's sort of worth it to wait for them and bear with the bad ones.

I don't think I'll get around to it. School settings are... Just bleh. #brokenpromise

The school setting is not even that prominent. It does take place in a school but it's not like that's the focus like most slice of life series.

Its actually one of those few, generic ecchi harem dense MC character that you'll think its bad, but its actually fun to watch.

Also, Stella is a top tier lady.
