| Well you could always choose to not to have a neural link to technology but even if you did it can't take info from your brain just external storage. It could maybe read or even partially control your thoughts though. If ads could be projected into peoples heads it would probably take place in dreams. Worst most likely threats already exist or can exist with today's technology. You could take a concept similar to social credit but without the punishments and turn it into a game with it's real motives hidden and make the consequences not so obvious for many by making it all seem like a game only. You could get people to rat out friends to police or carry out surveilence or hack accounts simply by making it fun for the users and give them that high of in game accomplishments and make the rewards appear in real life for extra power over people. Any government or terrorist group can utilize this. |

| I think the Social credit system is what I fear the most due to its plausibility. Brainwashing, thought control, and more are hard to enforce while the credit system might be filled with corruption. |
