| Darling in the FranXx was a major fail. SSSS.Gridman looks like it has potential and I'm pretty confident it's going to outdo DitF by far. That's 2 full-length TV series in rapid succession with Gridman airing this Fall. And they're all co-productions aswell. Honestly I don't think Promare will be any good if it's a series. I don't think they are capable, budget wise and time wise. So if they opt for it being a movie then they will clear out money and time issues and they can create a much better end product. UNLESS they saved budget and time with putting less effort in the two previous series. I have no doubts about Imaishi as a director but he isn't the only guy at the steering wheel so this could go either way. |

| Well I guess this means that Imaishi gets to let loose with the animation and stuff but I'm still a bit disappointed. Part of the fun of Kill la Kill and Gurren Lagann was the long, epic story, and the exciting theories and discussions that happened week to week. RIP the hype. |
| Those web pages could honestly be anything, guys -- especially since we can see now that both have since been deactivated and/or hidden. As far as I know, PROMARE has only ever been referred to since its announcement as an "anime," and official sources have never contextualized it as a movie or a possible movie. I'd also like to mention that it was announced alongside two anime series, which may be telling about the nature of the third project. While I'm just another layman and therefore can neither prove or disprove the speculation, I would personally urge everyone not to spread rumors, and to only believe announcements about the project that have been made by official/inside sources. My honest opinion is that these short-lived websites could easily have been made by someone who was bored and is just trying to create confusion, or even someone making a misguided or foolhardy attempt to try and promote the project. Either way, the doubt on this being a movie all of a sudden is real. |
