| I usually like old anime. But I didn't like CHU. My current score is: 4/10 I can justify my reasons as below: 1) Character design is too plain. Especially those school bullies look to stupid. There is no character with sensible behavior other than Honey. 2) The story has no depth. The monster attacks and the heroin saves the day. Reminds me of Sailor Moon. But SM had a much more detailed story. 3) Many characters have tendency to have lesbian relationship with another character. It is even treated normally by the all bystanders. I have no tolerance for homosexual propaganda in anime. 4) Graphics are cartoonish. I don't like the picture style. However, CHU has a unique design and looks somehow interesting to me. I am not dropping it. I will watch a few more episodes. My score may change upwards or downwards accordingly. |

| As a fan of the older shows, this one isn't exactly bringing anything new to the table. Wasn't a fan of Re: Cutey Honey at first, but it did grow on me as I watched. And had extremely funny moments at that. As for fanservice, well Shin Cutey Honey style is more up my alley, so that one takes the cake over this one. I haven't rated this show yet, but so far it's around that, a passable one. I mean, what do you expect? Fans will rate it a bit higher because of nostalgia factor and the ones who watch it for the first time will drop it or give it a score that it deserves as an slutfest fanservice of a show. Also, F them for not using the original theme. |

| You say it as if the fans were mindless that score only by nostalgia factor and a low score is what the show deserves unanimously, when someone could simply have another point of view and like other things, for example the Honey's charisma or the satirical and black humor of this mangaka. |

How is character design plain when some character look inhumanly weird? 2. It's same depth as Sailor Moon, don't get blinded by nostalgia. 4.
