| I guess some of you don't realise that Haruhi is basically slice of life, with some Sci Fi thrown in. Anyway, i'm loving this arc because this is exactly what this series is best at imo. |

| For some reason I really liked this episode..and I'm always looking forward to watching Haruhi every week...<< Makes no sense since I'm not a rabid Haruhi fan and I didn't even care for season 1. Still no excuse for Endless Eight, but meh. Mikuru Beam ftw. |

| So that is what went wrong in that movie... that is why Nagato jumped at Mikuru. Man I am amazed. Endless eight was worth of these episodes that are coming. And there will be, I think or I misunderstood, list how to watch this series mixed haruhi + haruhi 2009... So even more awesome! ^^ |
| Am I the only one who thinks Haruhi is seriously disturbed as well as a freakin' lunatic? I mean, shooting at an old guy (even if it was a toy gun) and pretty physically abusing Mikuru is to a sign that this chick is far from normal (as far as you can call a god-like being 'normal'). I'm actually glad that Kyon decided to stop her before she REALLY got crazy. Almost expected him to give her a good smack in the face, but I guess she wouldn't take too kindly of that if he did. The episode itself was good though. I think I'm finally starting to understand why people (used to) love this show so much. |

Actually, if you watched season1 and EE, all those problems could be easily prevented if Kyon didnt act the way he did, which is like: "meh...too much a bother, I am sure someone else will get it right in time. It's all their (Haruhi, Koizumi etc) fault." Kyon is pretty much one of the most boring characters ever, he wouldnt act himself until the situation has become the most desperate possible. (which is Im sure what most of us likes to do as well ;-) ) That said, Haruhi still likes him (for still unknown reason), and even Nagato seems to do so sometimes. (not to mention that Mikuru is totally depending on him most of the time....-_-) |

The average person would assume that someone didn't need to be coddled, and would have common courtesy. Haruhi doesn't have that. Personally, this episode has re-invigorated the loathe that I have for her, as much of this season had me wondering why I hated her in the first place. I totally remember now...she's a selfish bitch. |

Mikuru can act all cute 99% of her screen time, but just one scene with Tsuruya-sama is enough to save this show! XD But I still know there will be more of Her! Now I can't wait for the next ep! :D |

She is the one who starts everything and everything happens because of her. So... if you really resent Haruhi soooo much, it is amazing how you can still keep watching this (after the first season and EE starring Haruhi ;-) ) It is no surprise that I have yet to see a show that is all about the uneventful everyday life of a normal average person who doesnt have any noteworthy abilities expect mocking other people in his own thought :-) |

| I didn't misunderstand, it's that your comment sparked something that I've always noticed people say about Kyon and I ran with it. I personally don't agree that he is boring either. To me, he is the only well rounded character in the entire show. Everyone else is clearly a parody of archetypes, and Haruhi is just a big ball of annoying. She does defy comparison, but not in a good way. I disagree with those who try to blame what does or doesn't happen in the show on Kyon since everything is the effect of Haruhi's unstable and unpredictable psyche. I don't think it's amazing at all that I can continue to watch the show. As I said, I forgot how much I disliked her, and during the first season, everything was just so smart that putting up with Haruhi was nothing. I will say that this season has definitely tried my patience, but that has less to do with annoying Haruhi (which I've only seen the last two episode) but with lazy production. And as to the last point, you must not watch many slice of lifes, because off the top of my head, Ristorante Paradiso is just that, and was quite entertaining. And if you look at Spice and Wolf II , it is also that, since Horo's being a wolf has almost no bearing on the story, and it's been about Lawrence more. |

We will see it someday... meanwhile enjoy Haruhi's bitchness, Koizumi's lame smiles, Yuki's silence, Mikuru's moeness (*drools*) and Kyon's normal facade!! | Well, they still haven't said there would be ONLY 13 or 14 episodes, like there was in Season 1. They could surprise us and do like 24 episodes. They could THEN do TDoHS, which i look forward too. I read that story from the Light Novel. Very Good story, and it should be, since it took up the WHOLE damn volume. They could easily make 6 - 8 episode from TDoHS, which would obviously be better then Endless 8 any day. It was originally called Endless Summer in the Light Novels, and they could have told the story in 1 - 3 episodes at most, but i agree with a lot of people when it did drag out way too long. Although, i had my calculator ready to do the math every time Nagato said the time loop # (i was THAT bored between my class breaks, sue me). Now to get on topic with episode 12. Watching all the "Making of the Movie (Episode 00)" i think is funny. It took me a min to remember all the time jumping with the episodes and was thinking "they are still freshmen?" but then remembered it took place during the 1st season. I look forward for more Haruhi episodes. The More they make for the season, the better. And more episodes, will help make the Anime Rank go up, since of the Endless 8, people probably rated this low for now. |

| So there's no chance of Disappearance... But I'm just so relieved that Endless Eight is over that anything else from the novels is fine now. Which I guess is KyoAni's plan all along. I've forgotten how awesome Yuki is though. Her epicness has now been refreshed in my mind. |

| Mikuru Beam!!! I can only see one ending. This anime will loop to the Episode 0 of first season, also known as "The Adventure of Mikuru Asahina" which is generally the nonsensical film which the SOS Brigade is making right now. |
