Not necessary a second season but a spin off with Aikawa as mc
I mean it leave some questions in the air like what happened in the island before I think that kuganisa said something about a murderer o something like that and who is the informant of kunagis I don't remember if the name was chees or something like that (I think that is Aikawa)

If you are interested I believe there is a spin-off LN with Aikawa as the MC currently coming out. I have no idea if anyone has translated it though. I would also recomend getting through the rest of the Zaregoto series before reading that though.

The spin-off with Aikawa Jun is (maybe) either the Saikyou Series or the Ningen Series. I know she appears in them at least, but from my knowledge, neither have been translated yet by anybody. That and she comes back in the Zaregoto series of course.

I just want more seasons of this, I'm even going to read the novels later. If availability is an issue in your country, keep in mind that Vertical is translating them as we speak and the second volume is coming out in March. Though I don't really know what the issue is, so excuse me if I'm being inconsiderate.

I will like to buy it from Amazon but the aduana in Argentina is so strict, anyway I will have to wait until some company get a license

Edit: thanks anyway for the help

Saikyou is the one about Aikawa. Ningen is about Zerozaki.

I'd be shocked if they were to go straight into animating the spinoffs from here, though. I figure that if they're continuing with the franchise, they'll probably adapt more of the main series first, if not finish it completely.

Yeah, and hopefully they do. At the very least the anime inspired new interest with the series, so it's definitely possible that Shaft will continue. It definitely sold well though. Right now it's the 16th most well sold, and the 7th most well grossed OVA of all time at 465.8 Million Yen (and this includes OVAs of more popular series). Gotta say, Shaft knows how to sell Blu-rays. It's probably guaranteed a sequel at this rate.

it would be cool if a second season did happen.
