| Boruto is just another cash cow to milk. @Xercies I give Your Name a 7 (really good in my book) not because of the idiot plot. The weakest point of the movie is the plot IMHO. It's genuinely because of the very realistic art (your typical Makoto Shinkai movie). Plus I kinda dig Mitsuha's seiyuu's voice. Characters were kinda interesting in the sense of body swap. The girly Taki-kun and tomboyish Mitsuha were just funny as hell. Character development...not so much. Music was really good IMHO (I wore a pair of Sennheiser HD559s and can feel the punchy bass and crisp distorted guitar in one scene. That's impressive considering it's a pair of neutral cans) and blends well into the scenes. Some scenes are just really comedic, some are just heartwarming, and the twist halfway through the movie literally had me saying 'Shit.' in a solemn manner. I don't see any reason to rate it lower than a 7 in my list. I'd give it an 8 if not for the plot. |
