Where do you read slash doujinshi? I only know three place, that is myreadingmanga, mangago, and blmagazine Do you know any other place? I don't mind raw (Right now I only interested in BnHA, and I've read everything on those sites... I desperately need new one...) Alright, apparently some people is unfamiliar with the word slash... I used that term because it means both shounen ai and yaoi So yeah, what I'm looking for is site to read shounen-ai/yaoi doujinshi (I've changed the title too, ...) I know this kind of thread is forbidden so I'll ask another question in addition to above, How deep are you in your favorite anime? Do you like and care about it enough to actually support it by buying it's DVD/manga/merchs? Do all people who cosplay weebs? (this is totally unrelated to above question, it just randomly popped up as I write this lol) Why people hate weebs? Aren't they just people who are passionate about something they like? I have nothing against people who cosplay, or this so called weeboos. I actually wish I have the freedom to express my love for my fav anime. I wish I can go to anime convention/comic cons. Sadly it's something I don't have the luxury to. For various reasons, one of them being money problem orz. |

- Deeper than you thought ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). - No, it's not worth you can't support something that is old as hell. - I dont think people who cosplay (not all) are weEbs, most of them just want attention. - Because weebs are dumb fans who like trash shows. Shicchi said: Sadly it's something I don't have the luxury to. For various reasons, one of them being money problem orz. And other is probably fact that you're an fujo. |

Lol XD Actually no. In opposite, at that kind of place/event, I feel like I can be myself the most and show my fujo side too. Since I'll be meeting new people there who doesn't know the usual me. So, no it's not that. If you want to know... I wear hijab, oooooooppppppsssss busted |

This is the first time I'm hearing of "slash doujinshi" but then again I know nothing about the types of doujinshis How deep are you in your favorite anime? So deep that I was drowning in my tears when I realized that the creators were just shit who wanted to make the tsundere shine by any means possible and my favorite character was the only one who got a bad ending and I'm not even talking in terms of shipping here ;-; Fun fact: I can't even swim! No wonder I still can't get over the series even after a whole year Around 500 GB of my external 1TB hard drive is filled with that series Do you like and care about it enough to actually support it by buying it's DVD/manga/merchs? Yes, I've bought DVDs, BluRay, manga, musical DVDs, LNs, illustration books and some more info books. Not sure what to do with them anymore Do all people who cosplay weebs? By definition weebs are supposed to be people who have excessive unhealthy interests in Japan and only have half baked knowledge picked up mostly from anime. I'm not really sure why people these days just use the word with anyone who shows just a little more interest in anime or Japan trying to actually learn about the culture or language. As for cosplayers, it would be on a case-by-case bases. Why people hate weebs? Aren't they just people who are passionate about something they like? Most probably because they try to behave all-knowledgeable and very obsessive? I've met some people of fb who just randomly go on using rather harsh words like teme or bakayaro to refer to random strangers thinking that "it's cool" and they know Japanese. The first time it really pissed me off till I asked him and cleared things out. |

Slash/Femslash is mostly used in non anime (like western tv series/movies) but yeah, it's kinda the same with shojo ai/shonen ai. The content doesn't matter (whether it's sexual or just romantic or both), as long as it's between same sex, it's called slash XD So, slash/femslash is more broad in meaning. It contain both shojo ai/shonen ai also yaoi/yuri. Shicchi said: If you want to know... My fav anime is Attack on Titan, so it is not like they need any money from me. But even if it wasn't, I've never bought anime, videogames or otherwise, been a pirate all my life. Only thing I don't pirate are books, and I don't read very often anyway. Most people who cosplay probably aren't weebs, some may not even like anime or games at all and are just looking for an excuse to be the center of atention. But some of them might like anime, and some of them might be weebs. I don't hate weebs, I've never met one in real life either, but they are like fanboys right? Who the hell likes fanboys? |

Welp that kind of people are really annoying yeah. I bet they never even visited Japan. I mean, I think there was time where I was pretty smitten in Japan, but once I visited Japan, I realized just how much better your own country is, in the end. It's your home country after all. My sensei in Japan told me that, "Once you return to your country, you'll feel something different. By visiting other country, at the same time you'll come to realize things about your own country that you never think before otherwise." And he was right. I came to realize some things, one of the most important part is that how little I know about my own country, that I know more about Japan than my own country. That despite my country's bad points, it has many good points too. Just like Japan. And any other countries. I was studying Japanese, the language and the culture, you see. And all we studying is the good points of Japan. But once I visited the country directly, I came to realize Japan has a lot of problems as a country (I get to learn Japan's current problem directly from Sensei). And many other things (like how hellish their working hours is, and how most of Japanese are a crazy workaholic lol). Also, visiting other country made me want to promote the good points of my own country to outsiders lol Tl;dr I came to appreciate my country so much more after that. I think a lot of my classmates from my college life are weaboos lol (I don't think I was one of them though even then). None of them are those toxic one though, since we are kind of genuinely interested and was actually learning the language properly haha (at least no one in my generation lol, pretty sure some of the freshman are weaboos tho... but then again there was this actual chuunibyou dude in class B...) //sorry about the sudden words vomit lol |

@shicchi They use those words because they are learning the language so i do not think they are weebs in general , just ask them if they want to become japanese , in other words , ask them if they love japan more than their countries .. if they respond with no then I don't think they are weebs I use some english words when I talk to people (im not a native english speaker) but that doesn't mean I love the U.S more than my country .. using few japanese terms while talking doesn't always mean you're weeb .. a weeb is someone who doesn't accept his origins in the main case .. this is the main definition .. You're welcome |

Nowadays I mostly read gay sausagery fanfics on AO3 but if I ever feel like reading doujinshis I usually visit myreadingmanga, yaoi sei or dumblr (which I usually avoid like the plague but they've got some fine doujinshis there). I mainly use Mangago for "original yaoi" |

I had never seen slash in the context of anime fandoms since they already have words for it (yaoi, BL) I thought of slash as male/male pairings in Western fandoms and I think it became popular to call it that because of the / between the two names in the pairings. In anime-related fandoms the x between names was more popular until about 8 years ago or so when many people were doing a lot of western & japanese cross-fandom-ing (?) so they would like pairings from TV shows but then also pairings from anime&manga but although the / moved to anime fandoms, I don't think 'slash' did. As for websites, I'd say myreadingmanga.info is very much up to date with scanlated stuff and it's also only BL-centric, so it's good to stick to that one. You could try to find and follow scanlation and scanning groups, but finding individual ones and keeping track of all their websites can be a pain. I've personally use e-hentai.org and nhentai.net in the past since they have a lot of raw scans of stuff that never gets picked up by any scanlation group, but the 'hentai' part might be off-putting to a lot of readers haha. Also, they don't only have yaoi, but they have really great tag systems that can help you find what you're looking for. |

Ah, I'm not really active in fandom/community and also I belong to both anime and western movies/tv so I have no idea that the term slash is generally not used in anime fandom. I frequently go to myreadingmanga, but right now I'm only looking for BnHA stuff and because the series itself still young, there is still not much to read. I already read all BnHA stuff there lol So there is BL doujinshi too in e-hentai and nhentai? Even non hentai BL doujin? XD |
