Finally, about time this show will showcase the Olympic diving competitions. It still felt somewhat like a buildup with the training of new techniques.

However, it's about time they address what's to be expected at the Olympics. Really hope this show knows what it's doing when the time actually comes. The pressure is on!

Youichi isn't happy about the way he was chosen which is understandable. There is so much pressure on him.

Tomoki and Shibuki are learning new techniques for the next meet.

Now the story is shift to Yoichi-centric, interesting. I think he really unconsciously mentally rely on Tomoki. That is why he is so unstable when Tomoki didn't make a final cut.

Next week ballet training makes Okitsu coming out of closet?

Oh, and the ads at the beginning is best ads ever!

Sakura-san's character gets an offer for a CM. lol @ Shimono-san voicing the staff who explains about the CM, too.

He feels off about being one of the competitors, and ended up not going to the practice for a week. It's Nakamura-san's character to talk to him. Main guy also sent flowers to him.

Oh, so there's one more dive before Olympics?

Nakamura-san's character agrees to go to ballet for rehabilitation.

Main guy challenges for 4.5 now? After taking rest, his dive became off.

Female coach accompanies the two who didn't get chosen but not given up, and knows why Sakura-san's character is not in condition (and something's is in his mind).

He's full of calorie counting in his mind now...

This is gonna end up being a character study for the end game? I'll take it.

Yoichi needed more focus and we needed to see him acting more human. He's not in a happy place and you can even see it in his reactions, faces and gestures.

That last scene was ominous to me, looked like he was just spiraling down...crazy how fast a switch can be flipped.

I think Yoichi slowly realizes that he's only a tool to avoid the club being shut down. In the past Yoichi had this accident (we saw this only for a brief moment in ep. 2) and was scared of diving but his father wanted him to continue to ensure the clubs reputation, so he did. Even today his father uses him as he pleases when he put Yoichi into the olympics no matter how the competition turns out. Yoichi is simply frustrated that his father doesn't see him as a son but as ad for the diving club. Since his talent doesn't matter to his father it's only understandable that Yoichi, who dives for the sake of diving and having fun, loses motivation. He needs to tell him to stop deciding his live and make a decision by himself. And the first decision will probably be that he stops counting calories, since his father decided that as well I guess.

It gets boring and boring each episode. Characters and their conversations are uninteresting enough. When I finish an episode, it feels like there is almost nothing going on. I'm gonna finish the series just to finish it. Otherwise, it is really bad compared to other sports series.

I keep watching in hoping that one of the boys will bang the coach, i hope it is Tomoki since he lost his gf. I want to see him show up with a hot babe in front of his douche brother LOL. Will most likely not happen, but i keeps be from dropping the show.

Okay episode with a lot of focus on Yoichi.

That commercial in the beginning caught me totally off guard.

I swear this episode (if not mistaken) showed Youichi having an anxiety attack and it's not okay. Poor Youichi. :/

Kind of hoping that Youichi will pig-out next episode. LOL

Maybe their coach will be the bridge for Tomo and Youichi. She notice everything.
Youichi and Tomo are both vulnerable at the moment. ;)

it was foreshadowed and mentioned in previous episodes... "for MDC"
also the pressure of expectation.. both of his parents are well-achieved divers..
even his calorie conscious personality.. highschool stud was unconsciously forced to maintain his figure.. letting go the joy of delicious foods

Yoichi is not amused for that commercial crap I can tell, but having an emotional anxiety is not ok :( He's being consumed by yummy food which is bad :/ Hope he doesn't do anything reckless >_>
