| You're missing the entire point here. Whether or not they're a little sister does not affect their cuteness or whatever. Rather the question should be "what's it like to have a CUTE little sister?" Depending on your household or even your culture, whether they're cute or bratty or just normal cringy/annoying can be affected. A little sister in an asian family is more likely to be reserved and adorable than one in say a typical western family |

| Older brother here. My little sister was cute when we were little. When I hit puberty, though, I didn't have time for her and we got into fights a lot. She is closer in age to the youngest though (my little brother) so they fought the most. We grew closer after she graduated college, got married, and had kids. We're actually pretty tight now and I spend a lot of time hanging out with her. It is nothing like anime or manga. She wasn't this cute little imoto or any of that stuff. I think she looked up to me a bit because when she was a teenager she got into gaming, anime, and D&D because of me but I was always so far ahead of her in age, we never hung out (she was in middle school all throughout when I was in high school, then high school when I was in college). Heck, there were times when we straight-up hated each other, too. Anime romanticizes it unrealistically--I guess what you see is fantasy. |
| Lol this thread... I have sister 8 years younger (i'm 20 this year so do the maths). I'm a uni student but live at home so having one more person to make my life less lonely is a good thing I guess But she's a bit close-minded i feel. I try to get her into anime once in a while then she goes like "ew no". But it's not just that - it's summer now and she just binges on Youtube on things she's comfortable with, like videos related to Dance Moms, America got Talent, Slimes, Minecraft and is never willing to try out new games, new entertainment mediums, or new activities.
