My friends are looking for a good series to show their family as an introduction to anime in general, and fantasy/action anime genre in particular, and I was wondering if this would be a good starting point.

Thanks in advance.

You are joking, right?

Ofcourse it isn't, you could have either looked at the Pv which is a dead giveaway or the genre.. The first genre listed is Ecchi which isn't really family friendly.
Anyway, you should look for something that you already saw for recommendations.

or you can show them movies because they require less time investment.

Beside Ghibli films, some good anime movies Eve no Jikan, Summer Wars, Wolf Children, The girl who leapt through time, The boy and the beast, Sword of the stranger, Your name and A silent voice.

Don't listen what other people say, just tell to your friends to show this anime to their families.

Yeah, this is a good family friendly anime that can deepen the bond between family member by watching it together, especially if it's the opposite sex.

Absolutely not, this anime is clearly a light-hardcore ecchi series which means it's a terrible idea if you're trying to sell anime to someone who isn't familiar with it. At the very least, watch an episode before you show it to anyone. If you want to introduce someone to anime, I might suggest death note (the anime, not the terrible live action thing from netflix). Gurren lagann might also be a good choice since it's so action packed and intense. Lastly, consider mushishi for a slow paced but very pretty atmospheric series.

If your mom and dad also enjoy ecchi, then it´s perfect for your family :v

How should I know? It didn't start airing yet, so noone can confirm this.
However, taking a look at the name, picture and genres, I'd say you're probably good to go. Go have fun with your family.

If this is a joke -
Good one! 👏😂

If this isn't a joke -

No this is horrible for family viewing unless the family members are all above 18 and if possible straight males, this anime is rated R+ and is ecchi which means nudity particularly of the female body in this case. That is why I'm watching it, I daisuki oppai! 😍

Due to the variety of answers you are probably confused about the truth - watch the first episode then you shall find thy answer. Show them a short series 12 episodes long that is aimed for a family, with genres including fantasy and comedy avoid ecchi, harem, yuri, horror, gore and so forth... There are very few family friendly short series most are in the taboo section of genres. There are many good family anime but they are very long 100's of episodes, but you can watch a few to start.

Short: Sword Art Online with 25 eps but has a sequel, best though is Boku No Hero Academia with 13 eps.

Long: Naruto, One Piece, Hunter X Hunter (2011), Dragon Ball, Yu Yu Hakusho and the Magi series (sinbad, labyrinth, kingdom)

I hope this helps if your not 🙃 joking.
