| Even some publishers were tired of it as well. I remember reading a novel contest held this year that allows any genre except "ISEKAI" concept . Most Reincarnation or Resurrecting leads to a diff. world, so its ban also. Personally, I'm not really bothered w/ it. Its not like every characters and their abilities are identical. |

| It's called "Isekai" and has been around for along time it's just now the hot new craze, just like stuck in a game and school battle harem. |

| I don't like resurrection but I personally love the reincarnation stuff, specially series where one of the characters knew the MC in their past life. Is there some sort of genre for searching for these stuff? I'd love to read more. They might have similar themes but the story and the way characters interact, the settings and their goals differ so I don't mind it. Actually, right now I only know of three such series : InuYasha (Kikyo -> Kagome), Uraboku (all main characters except Luka) and maruMA (Julia -> Yuri). |
