I guess it mystifies the whole setup making it so unpredictable....
Steins; Gate did a great job
and Re Zero is also very popular

So far, it's been proven to be a great narrative tool. It worked well in Madoka Magica, it was astoundingly good in Steins;Gate, and hearsay tells me that Re:Zero does a good job with it, as well. And it offers the basic cathartic notion of being able to go back in time and (try to) undo the mistakes we've made.

This glorious signature image was created by @Mayumi!

"Anime was always influenced by the West. This is not news.
Shoujo is the superior genre primarily aimed at young people.
Harem/isekai are lazy genres that refuse any meaningful innovation.
There is no 'Golden Age.' There will always be top-shelf anime.
You should be watching Carole & Tuesday."

Because it's a cool plot device that appeals to a lot of people.

Probably because it's seen quite infrequently in anime/manga etc, and even when it's used most of the time it's used incorrectly so when S;G and Re:Zero use it correctly it's a big boom.
Big Order (TV):great anime or greatest anime?

I would say probaly because the story is very deep and make people think, which is something that not anime does.
One example that I finished watching today (but isn't related) is Zetsuen no Tempest. The anime has a amazing story and it make you think hard about what is right and what is wrong and also (specially in the first half) make you think how much the genesis tree actually interfered in the world and what is actually naturally happening.

Honestly so far the best kind of animes that I have been seeing recently was anime that has time loop and mysteries and I hope that more of this keep coming

Because it's honestly a pretty interesting concept with almost limitless potential for storytelling due to its diversity and ability to come up with creative and complex plotlines. Of course writing a time travel story without plot holes can be pretty difficult, but if done properly then more often then not it'll result in a pretty good story

It's a concept that's been proven to be very successful so I think it's pretty natural that writers keep exploring the idea. Like they say; if it ain't broke, don't fix it

Statistically speaking it's probably the best so-called plot device you can use in a story

you need to be an intelectual to properly understand a time loop, and schrodinger's cat

most anime fans are intelectuals, therefore these anime will get high rated

I don't think most Anime fans are intelectuals , It's probably they just love the Romance in it and how the MC Time loop to save others ..etc

I am very interested in Time loop in real life yet I don't like it in Anime because Romance involved

I'm not sure nowadays, but yeah I did notice a rise of them. Mostly because that time-travel aspect of it probably. I tend to stray from it because people don't have the intellect to understand them *coughErasedcough* and it mostly depends on the plot, in my opinion.

I wish I knew. My chips goes to "people like struggling characters", and that plot device implies the MC is/has suffered from something and is going to fix it, unless the author screws him up somehow to keep it "interesting".

Is cool they like it. I find it lacks tension. After a while, it can become boring if it is the end of the show, the main gimmick, so I hope this fad dies soon.

But does the heart have the right perspective?

Because Hakomari is good.

IDK, time-travel series seem to be becoming more prevalent recently though.
