| They have some similar traits but overall are still completely different. For example their relationship with their fellow brothers. Killua is afraid of his brother and that is how he is controlled by him to a degree, while Mumei is more tricked in a way and admires her brother (plus they aren't blood related). Plus Mumei is a formerly naive/innocent person turned into a fighter of the Kabane. This was not only her choice to do so (though she has been tricked). Which in this world, is not really seen as a negative thing. Killua had no choice in the matter and was trained to be a cold blooded/ruthless killer. Mumei doesn't really have the psychological damage Killua does. Then there's the fact that Killua will willfully use his killer persona without any remorse. Mumei wouldn't kill anything that wasn't a Kabane unless she absolutely had to more than likely. So yeah similar types of characters but certainly not copies. Generally no character is really a copy though (Not even Lelouch is a copy of Light). |

| Officially the inspiration for the character comes from Hit Girl (of Kick Ass), as shown in WIT's powerpoint presentation of the show's concept. I can see the similarities you outlined comparing Killua to Mumei, but I doubt they were intentional. |
