| Iam pretty sure Furuta is a ghoul. I mean how would he think to fight alone against Kaneki otherwise, other than Arima there is nobody in the CCG that coul beat him wihout a trick. | Where we left off in Cochlea last time, Furuta suddenly appears in front of Kaneki and Hinami. Narration: First Class Investigator - Furuta Nimura. A man that won’t let his smile stop. “Well well, what do we ‘ave here?” Kaneki stands in front of Hinami: “Get out of my way.” Furuta: Just when I needed a good punchline! Do you even know what you are doing? Childish superior officer. It’s a bother but I guess considering my position I will have to fight~” Furuta picks up his quinke (Rotten Follow) and drags it on the ground towards Kaneki. Furuta: Oh no, it’s hard, it’s so hard, it’s so hard… what’s hard is- having to have one long last look at my boss’s “best-he-can-do” face!. It’s kind of tough! He smiles and swings the chainsaw quinque down at Kaneki. Kaneki attacks him from behind, but Furuta coolly dodges. Furuta: Ah, thanks. Kaneki kicks Rotton Follow out of his hands. Furuta: Waa~aaa~ That moment, he reaches up and catches Kaneki’s leg in his hands. Furuta: and a Nice Catch! Kaneki: ! Furuta: And then~~~~~~~~~ Furuta picks up the quinque and swings it at Kaneki again. Furuta: (imitating himself earlier on) Kijima-saaaaaaaaan! However, Kaneki dodges, and throws Furuta into a wall. His front tooth breaks off. Furuta: My tooth! Aaa, it hurts! He rolls around on the ground. Kaneki attacks with an axe kick, but Furuta dodges, grabs his tooth, and shoves it back into place. Furuta: Thumb attack! Suddenly, he is stabbed from behind by Hinami’s kagune. Furuta: ZON!! Kyaaaaaa (coughing blood) Nyaaa! Waaa! With his last cry, he falls down on the group. Hanami: Let’s go. Kaneki: …………. |

| Ayato Side The Zero Squad appears in front of Ayato, Touka and Yomo. The ghouls put their masks on. Ayato and Touka attack the group, who put their quinques into shield mode. They still manage to take down a few of them. Yomo: There’s too many, retreat! Ayato: Ahead are the holding cells! I need to get to the warden’s office and find out which ghouls are in which. They successfully make an escape. After they make it to the warden’s office, Ayato uses the card key, but an alarm rings out. Ayato: … the access has been stopped… Touka: Force it open!? Ayato: Impossible… it’s been deactivated from the control room. Yomo: ! Duck! Arima shoots Narukami at the three, and they narrowly escape. Yomo: … Arima… Yomo notices that Arima’s arm has moved, pointing Narukami at him, so he jumps up to avoid it. As he does this, he remembers his sister. -Flashback- Hikari: I have met a man I like. Yomo: ……….huh. Hikari: Quite a while back. She laughs. Hikari: Actually, we’ve already had a child together. Yomo: Uh.. okay. His face turns red. “Are you gonna stay with him…” Hiklari: What, are you going to miss me? Yomo: …………… not really. Hikari: You’re really easy to read you know. She gently pats his head. Hikari: Ren, even if I have a child, even if I annoy you and you don’t like me, if I get old or even if I die… I will always be your big sis, you know? After a time, Yomo takes the hand of the baby. Yomo: S- small! Is it alive?” Hikari: Of course. She’s called Touka. Isn’t she cute? She looks like me. Yomo nods warmly. “Youka” -End of Flashback- Yomo’s right arm is pierced by Narukami. Arima uses the break to attack in full. Ayato: Old man!! At that moment, Touka jumps to protect Yomo. He smiles from below his mask and says “Get back”. Arima’s quinque misses Touka as Yomo pushes her out of the way, and goes straight through Yomo’s mask. |

| Arima fires another attack to Yomo who’s crouching on the floor. Ayato jumps out to help intercept the attack. Ayato: Don’t go crouching on the floor now, old man!! Touka follows up with an attack using her ukaku projectiles, Arima dodges them and attacks Ayato and Touka. Ayato: Ugh…! Yomo: ! And in a matter of seconds, Ayato and Touka are defeated. Blood continues to drip from Yomo’s mask. Yomo: (You’re going to take everything from me, aren’t you…?) Yomo: (…Arima.) Yomo: (My sister… My hope…) … Yomo: (‘Hope’…?) Yomo: (That’s right…) Yomo: (In this world where you can only lose something, you’re only hope is “to be connected.”) Yomo: (Letting the planted seeds bloom.) Yomo: (…And the flowers drop their seeds.) Yomo: (When someone drinks the coffee you made and it makes them happy and they say it’s delicious.) It first started at the beginning of this arc with Kaneki and Eto, but now he's pushing it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yomo attacks Arima with his kagune. Arima: … The Quinque takes in the damage and it starts getting cracks. Arima once again activates Narukami. Yomo: …! Not being able to move, Yomo watches as Narukami’s projectiles close in and he sees Hikari’s form. Yomo: (…Sister…) But someone suddenly appears and takes the hit from Narukami using their kagune. Narration: Sever the thunderous chain of sadness…! Kaneki appears. |
