To be frank, I tend to dislike very much mankind where they face against an other race...

Because either most of humans act like assholes with the non-human race (racism, domination, fear,...) and It shows the darkest part of us (I feel dirty after Shinkekai Yori end...)

....or they act like kinda hypocrit.
I mean, I've seen so many time protagonists shouting humans are hopefull, strong, filled of Justice, Determination, Courage, blessed by the Light, Gods, ect..., to non-humans characters (mostly antagonists) thinking mankind is weak...
(TTGL, Dai No Daiboken, M.A.R,..)

The "Humans are special" trope...
For personnal believes, this trope gets on my nerves...I find It's a pretty stupid and arrogant message.
Most of time, It shows We (humans) are the savers of all things, have the power than any non-human races don't have (evolution, determination, godlike items,ect.. and the few they have it are evil!), and anyone who are in their ways are ennemies who don't understand or reject the "True" and deserve to be nuked in a brutal flashy ways...

But when humans act "non-good" against non-humans, It's ok because those last "deserve" it, It's self-defence or It's eye on an eye for an eye, or some crap "moral" reasons.

They didn't use at all what make us "special" like compassion, kindess, or try to find a compromise between us and the non-human race. We show them how much we're special by the simpliest way, beating the crap out of them.

In the manga Parasyte.
Yea, Humans in parasyte arent different from the human from a world, in fact it reflects our world.

But the way Parasyte expose humans is really excepetional, made me understand the parasytes, and even more, repudiate human behavior and actions that damages the planet that arent theirs alone.

I dont think no other story in manga or anime put me in the verge of supportting the "invaders".

Haven't read the manga yet, but have you seen Shiki?
If not, I suggest that anime... (or if it has a manga then that too, I think)

funny enough what made me have many question about humanity mostly some rondom non action shows.

saiki kusou no psi nan can be prefect example how dirty human are.
mushishi does many time.

but most of them in the end still stabilize that not all human is bad.

Ehh, humans in reality are much more hateful than fictitious animations.

Real-life humans tend to be a mixed bag: some bad, some good, some trying to be good and failing, some trying to be bad and failing...
In some shows, all humans are total bastards, and only aliens, supernatural creatures or something else can be reasonably good.

Is that Eric Cartman x Akemi Homura fan art?

That's Haruyuki (boy) and Kuroyukihime (girl). They are main characters from Accel World anime/novel.
Haruyuki is supposed to be overweight and short, but for some reason when drawn he looks like he's not a human in the first place. Kuroyukihime is obviously a lot more attractive, but they are a romantic couple anyway. It seems that this pairing gets a lot of hate from the forum fans; this fact makes me lose a bit of faith in humanity whenever I encounter it.

I'd have to say Shiki. Now, I know that Shikis eat Humans, but come now, I believe they can both live in the same world, they'd just have to sort it out. How about Shikis eat bad Humans, and good Humans leave them alone? Eh, I don't know. I mean we in reality, have lots of animals that eat Humans, you don't see me complaining about that. Hell, they're doing what they're supposed to do. If you don't wanna get eaten--get the heck outta their way.

I only know Shiki and Psycho-Pass which had this morality theme going on but I never really hated humans. More like disliked at some points.

In Shiki though, I personally kind of disliked both sides (at certain times) not just the other one.

As much as I was disappointed with Gantz in a multitude of ways, especially its pseudo social commentary of nihilism and apathy in our everyday world, it managed to make you hate the majority of the cast of characters for being awful human beings and extended far past that into making you pretty much dislike any character that was portrayed outside of the main cast of Gantz participants.
I'm also filled with pure-hearted ulterior motives.

Everyone in Durarara is a nutcase, except for Celty. An ancient, headless, fabled being is literally the closest thing to a sane fucking person in the show. Although, to me, the general abominable behavior coming from the show's characters is what makes me like it so much.

Like sending unborn baby to hell or a guy who is sent to hell by girl he stopped from committing suicide, because she thought he will tell this everyone at school despite that he had crush on her.

Well, we humans wiped out most things that preyed upon us. Those great predators? The surviving ones mostly live in cages in our zoos, so that we can poke fun at them. We wiped out some diseases too, and keep the survivors in labs so that we can experiment with them.
And if an animal becomes known for attacking humans? We hunt it down, with some people crossing the globe for a chance to kill such a beast.

If we come upon an alien race we can't get along with, it will be the same - war will be inevitable.

I love stories that plays with this idea. But in reality? I'm more inclined to side with anything that helps with my survival without sacrificing my code of morality.

There're many shows which represent the story about humanity issues. But, the audiences should not misunderstand the intention of the writer or the moral issue of the story and assume that after we watched it we should hate this or that. Because until now, I never hate humanity so much like I would suicide or something but I often to realized about the good and the bad of humanity itself after I watched some show. There's positive and negative message to every story, and it depends on us, the audience to realize it or not. So for me, my answer is that there're no shows like that, it all depends on our presumption to hate something after we watched some story. But, if you ask what shows that "nearly match" to that answer, there's a lot of it but not to hate ourself. It's more like to make us realize what could we have done as a human and the impacts of it towards others.

There's nothing misanthropic about Psycho-Pass. A lot of people die, sure, but it's not really concerned with 'look how cruel humans are'. It's more about freedom vs. order.

I find it suitable that the Facebook page used a picture from Elfen Lied for this discussion, because much like Elfen Lied, any anime that tries to make you hate humanity, tends to be poorly written drivel. I have watched a number of things over the years, and read a similar amount, and one thing I have always noticed in the "humanity is evil," narrative is that they are often associated with series (like Elfen Lied) that make a play at being mature by throwing gore and nudity at you, to a gratuitous extent. In that regard, I think that if such a series does make you misanthropic than you're probably a bit immature.

I think that a well written narrative should not make you say, "humanity is evil," but instead make you question certain aspects of humanity. What motivates the evil? In Monster, the very start of the plot happens because Tenma goes against his hospital directors orders to operate on a prominent figure, rather than a child. Tenma puts his job on the line and operates on that child instead, operating, in turn, on what is quite apparently the morally right thing to do, but that doesn't quite work out in his favor. A lazy narrative would say, "You see how that director behaved? That's proof that humans are evil." Rather than simply suggesting that was an isolated case of selfishness.

A few people already said it, but Shinsekai Yori (From the New World) definitely goes along this trope by the end of the show (and the major plot twist is revealed). You end up hating perhaps not the actual [main] characters in the story, but humanity (or lack there of), hubris, and overall society in which our main characters are raised and live.

Because they're human enough there. Only a few characters, like Gendo, Asuka and Seele, are pointlessly evil. Most of them are the kind of people you might get along with, if necessary.

That's a very weird reason to hate characters. Should all characters be perfect morla heroes so Monfernova won't hate them? That's too easy to write, and boring.
