| I didn't really like how Tokui said that the unit that won the festival would be without a doubt the top unit in Aikatsu right now, or something along those lines. The competition was pretty limiting, actually. Three person units with an affiliation with Starlight academy. But whatever lol. The performances were great, and I liked the callback to the previous OP song with the cliff climbing and S2 character development for Akari. |

Like DanDiva and all the other units. While Tristar recently came back and had no momentum to help them. I think Tristar deserved to place 2nd, their performance was much better than Luminas. Soleil was amazing. AOI deserved her moment. Biased here but imo she's one of the top 5 idols in SA. I found it unnenecessary for the announcer to still show the slot machine to determine first place. Like we knew Soleil won the moment 2nd place was announced. Still shocked TriSar placed 3rd. |

| That was a great festival all around. But I kind of expect Tristar to takes second place not Luminas. But given how hard they trained I thought Luminas would get second either way. Given with how the plot will go, Luminas is expected as the next gen of Soleil but they still need to increase their appeal more as a unit. Their unit song was the weakest amongst the top five. Odayaka janai festival indeed. |
