| Good episode overall for a filler. The animation was better than the usual, too. Even if the ending was predictable, I enjoyed it. I guess I'm one of the few who like Detective Boys episodes. |
| Holy shit is Ayumi ever stupid or what? She's the kind of person that would be the first to be killed in a crappy horror movie. Every time she did something stupid in this episode (which I've lost count how many), I felt the urge to slap her. Seriously, I wish Conan would slap her for me; for not only putting herself in danger (multiple times at that), she put Conan and everyone else in danger. And how the hell did the blood get under the bed!? Unless she had a flat 2" bed futon with no sheets, no blanket, and with no boxspring, I doubt that the bed together with everything else wouldn't adsorb most of it, even if she was bleeding profusely from the miscarriage. There was also literally no reason for that couple to keep it a secret. By doing so, instead of calling for an ambulance, he put his wife in danger by driving her to a hospital far away, when there could have been any number of complications with the delivery of her 2nd child that required immediate attention. dbaranyi said: "Detective Boys" episodes are usually weak, this one more so than usual. You can say that again, and that goes for this entire episode overall too. I've already gotten used to the cheesy filler plots they like to use, but I haven't seen an episode this crappy in a long time from this series. I wish they'd go back into the main storyline already, hopefully before one of the cast members, writer, or myself kick the bucket from old age or illness. I hope the mangaka at least has an understudy he told how he wanted the ending to be, should he indeed fall ill and can't complete the manga for material for the anime to adapt. |

| A definite filler episode, and one that focuses on the Detective Boys. Like others have said, Detective Boys episodes are usually weaker, but this one is weaker than usual. At least Conan tried to warn the others that using the spare key was breaking and entering, which is illegal. But they took no care to try to not get fingerprints anywhere in a potential crime scene. Their fingerprints are all over door handles and a doll, for example. With that issue, it's a good thing that this episode was trigged by a misunderstanding. |
| Pretty solid episode. The visual directing and animation was better than usual here. I also thought it was an interesting story, even if it wasn't an interesting mystery. I thought it was pretty funny how Ayumi was humming the OP at the very beginning of the episode. Also, was that Ayumi-chan or Neko-chan when she bit the guy's arm? lol. xD Oh, and it turns out Conan didn't get to buy the book he wanted, sucks to be him, lol. :P |

| I dunno, I thought this, while obvious, was pretty cute on the whole. Reminded me of another case very early on involving Ayumi where no crime had actually taken place. Sometimes I think we forget the Detective Boys are 7 year olds, especially Ayumi and Genta who often make these kind of mistakes. Also, Ayumi's face near the end when she bit the dude was extra adorable. |
| I hope one day some actual criminal beat the shit out of genta and ayumi, also the fact conan still haven't put a dog leash on ayumi makes him an incompetent detective, what if it was an actual armed criminal hideout, conan should stop letting detective boys on field and instead go on his own especially for investigation like this |
