Although the Spelling in Latin is also pretty logical if it weren't for Things like "Caesar" which could be either "Tse - sar" or "Ka - e - sar" or "Kä - sar" ("Kae- sar"). edit: It's actually "Kai - sar", but I almost always hear it as "Tse - sar" in German. Probably, because "Kaiser" would be too close, otherwise (but "ar" would make more Sense, spelling-wise.) |
