| I have naturally black hair and I want to dye it a very dark violet. Not that I care enough to not do it, but I heard guys hate that and prefer a girl's natural hair, or at least not "crazy" colors like blue, pink, etc. So I was wondering what the MAL community thought? And, if you must, feel free to include pictures. |

| I prefer natural colours. Unnatural colours can look cute sometimes, but it's better if it's just highlights as dying all your hair will bad after the colour fades and your roots grow back which usually doesn't take too long. |

| I'm not a fan of anyone dying their hair unnatural colours. I had golden blonde hair till I was 8 then my hair started growing as a dark brown. I'll occasionally temporarily dye my hair back to golden blonde in the summer though. |

| My ex had pink hair for most of her life and kinda looked like something out of an anime. I liked it. When I met her I didn't even watch anime either (other than Cartoon Network). I guess it depends on personal taste though. I like natural brunettes and gingers too but to me dyed hair is pretty cool. |

| Pink, red, blue, and purple are fine, but green is hard to pull off, silver is hard as well and colored highlights>full dye. |

| It's fine. Whether it looks good or not depends on the colour as well as the person wearing that particular colour and the hairstyle they have. Some colours will suit you better than others. I prefer darker colours.. but only in general.. and it's a personal preference. A mix of natural and unnatural can also be really good. |

Thus i can say i don't really like dyed hair this Way there are still People whom i consider Pretty and others who definitly should've not done this.. i mean it obviously depends if it looks nice on YOU and not in general A Friend of Mine Dyd her Hair Dark Purple a While ago and it looked Awesome.. and she's not into Anime or anyhing related to this by far.. she just wanted to try some looks While other People i've seen on the Street colored their Hair and it just looked like they were Cosplayin Oh just noticed you want to Color your Hair Dark Violet aswell, i don't think it's that big of a Deal I think it's the bright Colors which can be fucked up sometimes |

| I think it looks good as long as it isn't bright. Really vivid hair colors just look to artificial, I think it looks better if the coulee is either slightly washed out or darker. |
