FMA:B - A well deserved score, I gave it a 10 myself. It's the best shounen out there without a doubt, and an anime everyone should watch.

Hunter X Hunter - There were some pacing issues, but I also really like this one. The characters make the show rather than the plot. In my opinion it IS imperfect but I can see why you would give it a 10, seeing how rich the character development is and how enjoyable the arcs are. 8/10

Baccano:
Really hard to get into, know what's going on etc.
Still a well-deserved 10 though.

Monogatari Series: Second Season:
An absolute fan of the Monogatari series, great voice acting + animation, solid 10.

Okay so many tens :p I've only seen 5 of them though

Death note: definitely deserved despite the slighty below par last 12 eps it still remains the best imo

Cowboy bebop: I liked the atmosphere of it and ost of course and interesting characters but that's it. didnt find it that special and im not a fan of episodic shows

Steins gate:liked the premise but didnt get what the main plot was supposed to be and it felt like a mess to me. Not a huge fan

AOT: again liked the premise and loved the 1st couple of episodes but it just got boring for me after that, still can't wait for season 2 though!

Dragon ball Z: I remember loving it back when I watched it

You dont actually have to rate every 10 on my list.
Just the ones that you like to talk about as it can be hard to remember shows you've seen a long time ago for example.
Same goes for other people, even though you have a lot of 10's, it's very unlikely the person commenting has seen every show you've rated a 10. - Or would just want to talk about a few shows.

Cowboy Bebop - Pretty enjoyable, quite unique and good cast, but in my opinion too episodic for it's own good and I dislike the ending. 7/10

Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion - splendid ending to great series. Amazing spectacle. Lot of things is happening. Can be confusing on the first watch, but is really beautiful. 10/10

Spirited Away - Goddamn boring. Nothing entertaining imo, felt terribly long. 3/10

Mushishi - only watched 4 episodes. good atmosphere and nice world, but I found it quite boring. 6/10

Black Lagoon - cool action show with great cast of kickass girls, liked it a lot. 8/10 for season 1, 7/10 for season 2.

Kill la Kill - simply the best anime ever. does everything splendidly. cast of likeable characters, most of all Satsuki Kiryuuin who is the coolest character in all fiction. great, fast pacing, tons of amazing action in it's unique and awesome style. 10000/10

Sorry, but I can't be arsed to rate anymore. Over 40 10/10s? Really?

I really enjoy anime, also it's only 9% of the anime I've rated on my list.

Cowboy Bebop - Pretty good episodic episodes that were hit or miss. The "plot" episodes were of no interest to me though, and neither was Spike. Needed more Faye, Jet, Edward and Ein. 3/10

One Piece - Characters are fairly likeable, though fights are too drawn out and predictable. 4/10

Death Note - Managed to keep me interested even though most of the Anime is talking. Both the protagonist and Antagonist are actually very intelligent and we're not just told this, but we see it first-hand, though that doesn't stop them from susceptible to basic human emotions. 10/10

Attack on Titan - Great side characters that I actually care for. Immersive world and setting that makes me care for the world in general. Great plot twists that genuinely surprise me without having me call bullshit. 9/10

Clannad - Feels like a Visual Novel in Anime form if I've ever seen one. All the silly antics look like they were pulled out of one, and I was laughing at every joke, while feeling sad every time the show expected me to, because I cared about every character. Truly wonderful. Now, if only I actually cared about the main character :/ [7/10

Death note: definitely a deserved 10 loved everything about it, even with the flawed last 12 eps 10/10

Death Note - very intense, exciting, with an incredible protagonist you both hate and admire. 9/10
Kaiji - quite similar to death note, also exciting and easy to binge. Kaiji is a cool MC as well. 8/10
Ore Monogatari - started interesting but I got bored of it halfway through. both Yamato and Takeo started to annoy the shit out of me, especially with their manner of speech 4/10

And no one's ever gonna say something bout mine :(

Code Geass R2 - great adventure with an amazing ending, but the pacing was a mess at times and random school episodes kind of ruin it. Still 8/10

Steins:Gate - great thriller, good cast, slow start but becomes more and more awesome towards the finale. 9/10

Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso - horrible, annoying cast, stupid overbearing drama, predictable, even the music performances are ruined by constant flashbacks of Kousei. 2/10

Monogatari series - very unique, little plot but characters and dialogues are awesome. my favourite of it is Bakemonogatari which I gave 8/10. The stargazing scene is beautiful and one of my favourite episodes ever.

End of Evangelion - Great conclusion to NGE. I fully admit to not understanding any deeper message the movie attempts to convey, and I've even been told by fans that viewers are supposed to make their own interpretations, which I'm not a fan of, but I still think it's a good movie. 8/10

Grave of the Fireflies - Pretty good in areas in portraying the aftermath of war, and the struggle people have to go through in the wake of it. I think it could've been better though. 6/10

Mushishi - Beautiful, atmospheric, and extremely artistic series. Some episodes are admittedly weaker than others, but it's definitely one of my favorite anime. 8/10

Kenshin: Trust and Betrayal - Fantastic character-driven and emotional OVA, I love series like it. 8/10

Angel Beats-I think it started good, but it was obviously cut short. Had it been a 24-26 ep series, it might've been a classic for me, the rush on the second half when they suddenly found out they weren't getting more eps was disappointing (you shouldn't end things by going "and btw, all these people were cool too, but we're not showing you how they moved on")

Hotarubi no mori e-I liked this a good bit, and certainly more than Natsume's Book of Friends.

Razortonge:
Cowboy Bebop - Really is a masterpiece. It got the existential western themes in really well of being on a lawless new frontier down, explaining what it means to be a bounty hunter, and made it interesting from start to finish, leaving a mark on the industry and the hearts of anime watchers. 9.5 Wouldn't give it a 10 just because certain episodes go for some weird aesthetics that aren't always gripping.

FMA: Bones why -.- set the precedent for me not liking when they make up their own endings. I didn't like what they did with the homunculus and i didn't think the ending fit at all. But I do think they did a good job in the beginning explaining the brothers' history. Might wanna rewatch to be sure, since i only watched it once. 6.5

FMA: Brotherhood : THIS is where its at. No episode felt boring, emotional moments hit home. Favorite character is winry since she was really important for the home/peace theme(?), then probably Roy since he's a badass, and helped give an eye into the military narrative. Pacing was great except for the very end which felt a bit dragged out, but still possibly one of the best shonen ever. 9

LotGH: Its incredible. Very deserving of its praise. I used to think it was impossible for a 100+ episode show to keep me entertained throughout with important episodes every step of the way, but it did. Really thoroughly explored the universe and the war on not just the grand scale, but the small scale too, keeping the experiences grounded in its characters. Its definitely one of the best anime. I still wouldn't personally give it a 10 since i grumbled any time Rubinsky or Julian did anything, but they still did serve their purposes in the story so idk =S. 9.6

Code Geass R1 nad R2 - extremely enjoyable and has likeable cast, but is overall a great mess, I can overlook that, though, as I enjoyed it immensely, very exciting. 8/10

Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica - at first boring as fuck, then gets edgy, shit cast. 5/10

F/SN UBW and UBW 2 - definitelly better than the original stay night, but still has it's huge share of problems. 6/10

Ahh, so in this thread we have to be as friendly as possible, gotcha.

OT: The only anime that you've rated a 10 that we have in common is both Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso and Haikyuu and I completely agree. Well, maybe I'd rate Haikyuu a little lower than a 10 (like a 9, 8 at lowest) but nonetheless they're both fine.

Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu- It's extremely funny but only at times. 7/10

Kyoukai no Kanata- Forgettable. It's a painful reminder that KyoAni doesn't really have what it takes to make an actions series. 5/10

Lucky☆Star- It's great but yeah some of the novelty wore off. 8/10

Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu- A really shallow, soulless spinoff af a popular series. 2/10

Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu- Well, it has some good points but I don't get why it's so widely praised in some circles. 7/10

Code Geass - Throws in everything popular at the time, from mechs to Pizza Hut. Easy to see the appeal but it's not for me. 6/10

Flying Witch - Nice atmosphere but the quality bothered me. 5-6/10

FMA:B - The first 20ish episodes are strong, mixing both engaging writing and a nice presentation. Witty humor, nice enough action, and a great premise. Then there's the other 40 episodes... 6/10

LotGH - I love that it focuses on both sides of the war, and it's hard not to respect how detailed it all is. The presentation is really iffy though and the 'history repeats' theme is too forced. Also, most characters are never really explored in any meaningful way, which is a shame. The narrator also bothered me a ton. 6-7/10

Katanagatari - Manages to do a lot with so little. The dialogue was great and the neat art style only helps. 8/10

Kill la Kill - The first few episodes are great, but it quickly feels like it loses focus. If anything, I'd say it's really inconsistent and dragged out. Nice ending though. 6/10

Madoka Magica - Takes half the show to get interesting, and even then it's only carried by its neat art in my opinion. Maybe it's just not for me. 5/10

NGE - Flawed in so many ways but it only adds to it. Some of the best written characters I've seen, but it's easy to see why it's polarizing. Realistically 8/10. Personal bias 9-10/10

OPM - One joke carries this, but it's a good joke! The animation is fantastic throughout and the dialogue is clever. I feel like it should have been more episodic. 7/10

Re: Zero - Wasn't for me so I dropped it. ?/10

Rose of Versailles - One of the better historical dramas I've seen. Engaging and emotional. 8/10

TTGL - Neat story with a focus on the evolution of man. A bit spotty at times but always fun. 8/10

Gunbuster - Easy to see how this influenced the mecha genre. Corny at times and needless body exploitation throughout, but neat that it actually attempts to keep relativity in mind. 8/10

The Tatami Galaxy - Everything I love in anime and storytelling in general. 10/10

Haven't seen the rest.

Graveyard of the Fireflies- I understand if it hit a certain heartstring for you. It didn't hit that heartstring for me, so I gave it 8/10.

I haven't seen the others but I would love to watch The Tatami Galaxy sometime soon.

I gave bebop a 7 since it was good and I'd probably give fairy tail a 5 if I watched it since it seems like a generic shonen. I like generic shonen action but I'm not going to put fast food on a pedestal or call bad zombie movies masterpieces
"I like young-girl sexual creations, Lolicon is just one hobby of my many hobbies," he says.
I ask what his wife, standing nearby, thinks of his "hobby".
"She probably thinks no problem," he replies. "Because she loves young boys sexually interacting with each other."

Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu- Well, it has a nice premise but just like the TV series it follows, I find it decent enough. 7/10

TTGL- all around a good anime, but I was disappointed by how much the second half drags and have mixed feelings about the ending. Also never liked how basically everyone besides Simon is a background decoration 90% of the time. 8/10
