it's not deceitful it's entirely obvious when someone is wearing makeup, which is usually ...which is precisely why nobody wants to look like the girl in the example people cover up imperfections and they accentuate the good things about their faces that's the same as styling your hair or wearing flattering clothes it's fine there's nothing wrong with wanting to look more attractive than you do when you wake up and i won't decide someone isn't attractive in the moment i'm looking at them just because it's not their worst 10/10 women and men don't exist without makeup and everyone is to blame for that but if someone appears 10/10 to someone else then 99% of the time they're not wearing a full mask of makeup and would appear fairly attractive without it anyway |

Don't go after girls who are clearly wearing makeup if you have a problem with it. |

I don't mind makeup on a woman if it's nice and light. Heavy makeup is very distracting and I always wonder how long it takes them. I wear very basic makeup everyday, mostly for myself and I like to be girly. I like to discuss makeup with other women and compare tips and tricks. I don't think it's a falsity unless you look totally DIFFERENT without it. I think makeup for the most part should just be an upgraded version of yourself. Everyone does something like makeup to make themselves look better whether it's shaving their beard, dying their hair, wearing jewelry or flattering clothes. It's just society man. |

Definitely. The picture the OP posted is ridiculous and seeing a girl that you thought was attractive be less than average is a shot at your ego. You won't be bragging to your friends about hooking up with her lol. Make up is the closest thing we can get to making anyone a 10/10. But even if we put it on you, your heart would still be ugly. |

I suppose in extreme cases like in the OP it could be considered a bit deceitful (despite the fact that it's a bit obvious her face is plastered in make-up), but I don't think it's deceitful if the girl is wearing a light amount and doesn't make her look like a completely different person. Also, as other girl's have pointed out, we don't just wear make-up to attract men. One common example is if you wake up with a pimple on your face and feel bad about it, you put on the make-up for yourself so that you won't feel bad about yourself. In some cultures make-up is even treated as a type of good hygiene like brushing your teeth or washing your face. |

You can want to look attractive for yourself without wanting to look attractive for the sake of attracting men. You could also be trying to look better around other girls for the sake of social standings. For example, some girls cover up their pimples because they are afraid other girls will make fun of them or judge them over it. |

My lashes are long enough and my face doesn't have much acne) but dressing cute is something I do because it's just super fun and makes me feel good about myself! I don't try to dress nice for guys, I do it for myself. Cersei said: You can want to look attractive for yourself without wanting to look attractive for the sake of attracting men. Only when someone's caked in makeup is when I consider it deceiving. Then again, it's easy to tell if it's their natural look or not. Light makeup isn't deceiving at all. |

I'd also like to point out beauty standards in girls and guys are different. Being hot as a guy = masculine, some facial hair is okay, muscles, natural looking Being hot as a girl = long eyelashes, rosey cheeks, red shaped lips, flawless baby skin, hairless body Gov said: mayukachan said: (while women do not as much as them).
