| Do you aspire to fame? If so, what lengths would you take to achieve it? Have you auditioned for any reality tv shows? Would you generally consider yourself the life of the party or are you a wallflower? Have you done anything in your personal life to make you stand out amongst your peers? Please share. Are you popular on MAL? Do you wish you could be more popular? I, for one, am the cutest and most popular MyAnimeList user according to all of my boos so there's that. All of those washed up has-beens without the personality to sustain their fame are nothing, don't even speak of them. I just have the "it" factor, and you probably don't. Sorry haters, but you've got nothing. |

| I embrace being a wallflower on MAL. Greatness comes through individual thought rather than words used to impress others. I'm not exactly popular on MAL because I actually hate a lot of the so-called "popular" members for believing popularity exists on an anime community (especially in the area where anime is almost never talked about) and I don't want to do anything to make me more "popular" because usually the "popular" members are nothing but materialistic, shallow, vain, and false. |

| I would like to be remembered for doing something, definitely not TV fame though. Basically I want a minute of fame. I want to do something that's like a one hit wonder or a trend or something that lasts just a little while and such. On MAL? If I wanted to be popular on Mal I would put more personality into my answers. I don't wish for fame. |

No, I wont waste my life on something like vanity. If i am going to die eventually, i will live my life with personal dignity, not bending over for someone higher up so he can make a buck off of it. And i wont try to be something i am not because its what society wants. I will be what i want to be. And on anther note- mal popularity is pretty close to vanity - people who shit posts to feel good about thier over inflated post counts, but have little actual contribution, and think they've accomplished something by plastering thier names on countless threads. Outside of the website, it means nothing, and means close to nothing to the majority of people here. MAL popularity is a joke. |

And why does vanity have to be a bad thing? I find it endearing. You can become popular through thought provoking and insightful posts so long as you're not a dullard, most shitposters are known for their actions and disregarded. It is vain to want recognition, because recognition is something that only a perception. It is hard won and easily lost. Its like high school popularity. People kill themselves over it, but something that is taken so seriously vanishes within a few days of graduation. If a popular mal user disappeared, most people would shrug it off and move on. That sort of of popularity is vanity. To me, vanity doesn't equate to legacy. A legacy is something of substance . Is it endearing to be something isnt you? I would find it more saddening. |

| To be quite honest the sole reason I took up graphics design/digital art was so that I could try to be famous on the Internet through my works. bluh. The strive for fame was a strong enough motive for me to actively improve my craft. I still create digital art stuff, but not as much as before, and only for my own enjoyment. I don't care about fame anymore. Especially Internet fame lmao |

The problem with Fame & Glory forreal though is that you have to keep your persona within the ideals of fans. It's human for people to change characteristically, but in celebrities, so much of a change and their world comes crashing down. They end up becoming a washed up celebrity like Bam Margera or something. |
