not like I would go crazy or anything if it does not have one but is there any chances for a season 2?

It's just my speculation, but what I'm wondering is not if but when I see a season 2.

The next part is pretty long, going from volume 4 to volume 11

If they separate the two parts of the Blade Dance it's 4-8 and 9-11. If a second season were to be made and only have 12 episodes it would be to much rushed. Even if they made a 24 episode anime it still could become rushed

I really liked this series.
It was my 3rd fav behind Sword Art Online 2 and Akame ga Kill.
Blade Dance was epic because of the plot twist with the strongest female blade dance being the only male blade dancer aside from the demon lord himself and the fake demond lord Jio.
I loved it.
Loved Restia, Jio and Kamito.
Everyone reall, however I hated how stupid the girls were since all of them are spoiled rich kids they pissed me off so much, mainly Claire.
There should still be a season 2 since we have no idea how the actual Blade Dance went down.
Do Team Scarlet win it or not?
Believe me some animes make the main protagonists lose.
Also who else finds out about Kamito's secreat?
So far Fianna and Velsaria now both know it.
Does Claire ever get reunited with her sister Rubia?
Do we ever get to see Rubia apart from flashbacks?
Does Kamito ever kiss any other girl apart from Claire?
What is the actual deal with Restia?
Do we ever get to see Jio again?
And the biggest question that I think we all as fans want to know is do Claire's boobs ever get bigger?
Please give us a second season!!
PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

infinite stratos sold 30 thousand copies of its first volume.

This anime will be lucky to sell 1000.

IMO the most problematic thing about the anime continuation would be how to handle that huge arc that it would have to include, as the Blade Dance in the LN was in volumes 4-12, which means they would need at least 3 cours (~36 eps) to do it all, and it has no point in which it could be splitted without ending up as pure bullshit.
I'm from Poland, so i'm sorry if i make some mistakes in english sentences (including this one)

Guess the novel really is better, but tbh if its storywise i have a feeling this anime could get really big. They should just cut most of the lewd beast moments tho. It was fun with Est but after that it got pretty annoying =/

Little tip content in this season is what matters not what might happen later.

There is definitely enough content for a Season 2. And as a reader of the novels I would like a second season, but the problem here is sales.

It doesn't look like the anime will sell well at all. Like Solvite said, it will probably sell around 1000 copies at best, which isn't an ideal number.

Also, the novels themselves did not get any significant sales boost from the anime adaptation as I far as I know. (No Game No Life would be an example of an LN that got a very good boost in sales due to its anime). So I wouldn't get my hopes up. If you really do want to continue with the story though, just read the novels. There are 13 translated volumes on Baka-Tsuki.

It is not failure though. Just average at best.

Anyway content wise there are enough for two or three more season.
Kickstarter for Rokujouma is fully funded. Good work everyone. Lets wait for the result of our hard work together.

There's enough content for about four more seasons currently, but the problem is, since the volumes that make up season 1 were pretty much a prologue, that hurts sales, because it doesn't pick up for a while.

Any chance of second season probably depend on sales. I personally enjoyed this show. I don't even read the novel but I can tell it's a textbook adaptation. Doesn't feel like director trying to add pointless fanservice moments like in Zero no Tsukaima. It's shows like this that I wish we invest more positive feedbacks on, but people love their boobs and that's how ZnT can produce 4 seasons.

The adaptation is quite poor excluding the soundtracks. I was disappointed watching especially the 4th episode. It was plainly rushed. Zero no tsukaima is good and all of the characters seem alive and the plots are enjoyable.

"Came remotely close" is the keyword for my argument, also I use "decent" for lots of things I describe even if they're huge enough. Not sure why the jab when I was pretty much bringing a relevant example up.

I wonder what the sales are for BD's LN, I hear they're high, obviously when the anime is vastly inferior you'll get a shit turnout from buyers.

Now you're comparing apples to oranges. The higher selling anime are going to be significantly higher in monetary amounts than higher selling manga.

If someone in the fanbase like NeoAnkara could tell me what BD's LN sales are like, that'd be great. I've been told in the past they're among the higher sellers.

>300 dollars

Western sales are irrelevant.

when i said shit, i mean shit, not stuff.

People will pay a small amount of money for mediocre content.

Also I refuse to believe the source for this anime is any better. The story here was laughable and stupid.

It was the same generic harem bullshit from every other show but with proxy battles thrown in to make it even more boring.

I edited my post, please read it.

The LN has been reported to me as the obvious superior source, not to mention this show probably could have sold much higher if the LN readers were further pleased. And let's not forget that the anime only adapted the introduction per past posts on this thread.

>Generic harem bullshit

Now you're just being conceited. You hated the show, guess what I didn't like the show either. I might even think like you, but I wouldn't use a buzzword when it's irrelevant to the actual determination of the show itself. This show has its fans, probably heaps more across the Pacific in terms of percentage (rather than number) than here, so I wouldn't use empirical observation as to determining what a series is.

Well considering the story gets better than it ended, i would love a second season.

But nothing matters what we think here in the Western parts, it only really matters in japan if they want it or not.

Let hope there will be a season 2 cause right now, this is undoubtedly my favorite anime in the harem genre (Trinity Seven might top it once it come out though but the anime will forever stay in my favorite list). Crossing my finger here for season 2 with more KamitoxClaire moment.

The LN is one of my top reads but even then I wouldn't really care if this gets a second season or not because the anime is really mediocre and if they did do another season they would have to cover alot of volumes.

Doesn't this make you hungry?

EVERYTHING gets better the more you get into the story and characters...And that counts even more for the novels with 10+ volumes...There is a limit 1 season of anime can cover and %90 of the times anime adaptations cover introduction chapters...

It isn't nonsense. I can understand defending shitty shows but come on.

This show is so mediocre and forgettable. And its not just me who thinks so. Look at its ratings AND its sales.

Its not going to magically become less shit just because the novels get further.
