| I believe it might make it, I have really high expectations on this, that's the intention ufotable left to me so why not. Also we've been begging for a decent adaption since the crappy DEEN version came out so I guess it will go on well. Also I wonder how they will do things, I mean 1 season per route? 1st the Fate route, 2nd the Unlimited Blade Works route and finally the Heaven's Feel route which I've been waiting for years to be animated.... |

Characters are dull and the story is really what you would expect the animation is alright but nothing to special it's really the impression i got from Fate Zero i have no idea how it got so high up there when these are some very clear issues. If i compared this show to lets say Baccano there would be no way the characters and story would come close. |

First off, if you're going to make bold statements, on the Fate forums no less, you better be able to stand your ground like a man instead of hiding behind your "I-It's my opinion so don't attack me!" shield. And yes, I would also like to hear these "issues." Just saying "thing is bad" will not automatically prove that thing really is bad. If these "issues" are those weak links you mentioned, I'll go head and try for a rebuttal, even if most of what you said is subjective. The characters are hardly dull, especially when you take into account the situation they're in. They're in a war where any of them could die at any point, so of course they're not going to be happy-go-lucky or energetic like Isaac & Miria from Baccano!, they're going to be calculating and scheming to win. But even still, the differences in personality are very apparent, the motivations are clear, etc. The story is straight-forward, not convoluted, and is written with care and detail as it connects itself to the Fate/stay night VN. I'm not sure why "being what you would expect" would even be a bad thing in the first place, considering events are heavily foreshadowed and/or hinted to, the characters' personalities and motivations allow you to know what they're prone to doing to affect the story, etc. The animation is crisp and solid, so I don't know what you're talking about there. |

Kirei, Cu Chulainn, Archer and Shirou (depends on the route) take this easily. |

| Emm no? They only cool thing about Lancy is his armor and dark aura. Hercules could wreck everyone except Gil in both wars, and even with his mad enchantment he did everything he could to protect Ilya, even when he was blind.[spoiler]And he recognized Archer as an opponent he would love to fight again is he was normal and he broke Enkidu by using only his strength. Lancy was running around screaming Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrthuuuuuuuuuuuuuuur and needed command spells to listen to Kariya. The only real battles in fz are lancer vs saber, gil vs berserker and Kirei vs Kiritsugu. And only Kirei vs Kiritsugu is close to Lancer vs Archer, Archer vs Shirou, Gil vs Shirou, Vs Alter, Sparks liner high and others. And how is it generic male protects female when thst happens only in the first part of Fate route? Wasnt Kiritsugu also fighting to protect everyone after the war? |
