Dam pretty low sales for a Fairy Tail volume this time.

lol, what would you expect? fairy tail released on may 17, and guess what, it is first in 2 days, don't worry,in next week it will high it sales again and become 1st in ranking

Yea, it will probably get another 30000k sales, still not doing well. :P

you sure love to mock people eh? i suggest you have to find the logic behind it!
clue: it released on may 17, so 17-18.
clue: your dumb so why bother?

It's the truth dude. I'm sure fairly tale wont even touch 2 million in sales when the first half manga sales comes out next week.

You just have to accept that.[/quote

are you sure? hahhahahah, who cares about that,a
it'sjust a first half, the important is the whole 2014 result, at leat ft achieved 400 k than the rest, i'm waiting for mavis prequel.... and gray spin off

^ Don't worry dude, SNK will end in about 2 years while FAIRY TAIL will go on for about 10 years and surpass it in total manga sales as well hahaha it's just something they have to accept you know :)

Snk wont end in 2 years. The mangaka is already extending the manga. Did you not hear the part about adding new elements in the story? and fairy tale has about less than 3 years before it ends.

I can't believe people are believing that 20 volume bullshit. XD

Snk sells close to 40 million manga volumes, fairy tale 25 million. Fairy tale manga sale has been dropping, I don't think it has 10 years left. probably 3 years max.

snk if the author push it to 30 volumes remember it's a monthly series, that will end about 4-5 years from now.

SNKs' plot isn't made for a long running series and I doubt he can extend it for long, the story would be stale with no deaths and what's he gonna do for 10 volumes anyway? political stuff? religion stuff? it would dig it's own grave.
New people? makes all the others death less significant and we all know they're gonna die anyway, predictable and rehashed stuff.

Each snk chapter has a good number of pages so it will go fast, if it was 20 pages a month then maybe it will last that long.

Mashima said there will be 2 or 3 major arcs left after the current one which is looking to be pretty long, so 10 years seems reasonable and he just launched a FT magazine too :O it isn't ending anytime soon.

I reeeaaally hope it doesn't get this many volumes

I adore AoT but long running series are a pain to buy (I have enough with KnB which I hope it won't surpass the 30-35 volumes honestly)

I think 22-25 volumes would be enough (even more than enough, I don't really like when they pass the 20 volumes orz)

Fairy tale is no one piece. I highly doubt it will last that long. 3 arcs could be easily finish in 3 years.

What? Really? I once heard that he would end his manga in 20 volumes, dunno that he finally decided to extend it. But if he does that, doesn't that mean the quality (and probably sales) will drop?

Well one piece is still doing fine. Another example is dbz. It was suppose to end at frieza saga. but the mangaka extended it to end at the buu saga. And imo those two saga were better than frieza saga. If the mangaka can keep me interested than I'm fine with it.

Many mangaka has extended their series but just didn't reveal it.

I'm calling it now. It will be 3rd or in the top 5 at least in the first half manga sales. Iv'e calculated the sales so far for this series, and it's over 4 million in sales.

because the build up to the epic finale of this arc has been so amazing.
no seriously, the LN of the index series are in general making more sense than the anime, also starting with the next part which season 3 would cover it will getting much more darker.
and DAT NT9. seriously, if you want, just read NT9, with this single volume touma transformed himself from a typical harem MC to an actual good character. the amount of despair and epicness in this one volume shoots through the roof
current LN reading:
Death March kara hajimaru isekai kyousoukyoku

Yeah, that's why I don't understand the reason why he announced (though I couldn't find the source anywhere) that he would extend his manga. If he can handle it, that's fine. SnK is monthly, monthly series will suffer more from dragging. One month of waiting and nothing happens is much worse than one week of waiting and nothing happens. :/

Oh, so that's why. Thanks for the info. Was wondering why a few years old LN (and already completed) was suddenly ranking again.
Wait for me guys ! I have planned (since several months) to buy the whole first Q series in one go in my next order in 3 weeks, so I'll participate as well~
I heard that title was awesome so I want to see that by myself~
