I'm curious to see how many of you have something like this.

Could be anything from arthritis that acts up under certain weather conditions, to a broken bone that did not heal right and still pains you, to an old war wound that you constantly feel.

In my case, my right Achilles heel is significantly weakened (probably from an old foot injury I had), and after heavy use (being on my feet all day, running distance, hiking, etc.) I will sometimes find that I cannot put any weight on that heel.

Usually goes away with rest, but it is annoying.

Anyways, how about you?

Had 2 stress fractures on my right femur and have an FAI tear in my right hip. Hips still bothers me from time to time and I sometimes feel like my right knee is fucked. Also got carpal in both hands and my right hand flames up a lot. More of a deformity, but I got Pectus Excavatum.

I have a small scar near my ear. I got it two years ago in a skateboarding accident and it's a little noticeable when I lift my hair up.

Other than that, no.

Permanent mental anguish from being a veteran of the internet, the things I've seen . . . . *you would notice my words trailing off as my gaze fixates on something in the distance behind you*

Oh, really though, I have this cool scar on my head from a stealth-guided craniotomy that was performed due to almost having a glioblastoma multiforme

Turned out to just be a strain of staph causing swelling in my brain -- fun times.

pilonidal cyst (have fun googling that one). it's easier to put up with and clean than go through the extensive, painful sounding healing process that doesn't even guarantee it won't come back.

basically, sometimes i might find it a little lame to sit down in a certain way. doesn't really screw with my life though, so i'm just keeping it the way it is for now.

I've had reoccurring problems in my wrist, due to an accident playing basketball. It's just occasionally painful though, nothing too bad.

None that I know of.

Though, I do get abnormal hearbeats due to stress and sleep deprivation

Not sure if that counts?

My right arm is 1/2 inch longer than my left arm because I broke my left forearm twice in less than a year and I needed surgery to insert metal plates that impaired bone growth.

My nose is crooked because I broke it a long time ago.. I might get a surgery to get it fixed but it costs $3K.

I also broke my right elbow, my left collar bone and l dislocated my right shoulder.

Needless to say I'm gonna suffer from a ton of arthritis when I'm older.

Hmm.. I practiced football ( SOCCER FOR YOU 'MURICANS) for 10-12 years. needless to say my left knee is fucked up and I suffer a lot from both of my legs thanks to a not fully healed injury. Also let me add that I can't stand up for too long so having sex while standing up ? Out of question.
Running for a few miles ? Possible but it will be painful as fuck

I suffer from my back alot also although it's nothing serious as of now maybe it's just because that I sometimes spend too much time on the computer.

I have a few scars on my arms thanks to football and a few physical confrontations that I've been into.

Last but not least if it counts I have a few scars from past surgeries.

I have this mark on my left arm that never seems to heal, not sure what it is or was originally

Lifelong asthma, TMJ (headaches, clicking, limited opening), allergies, although those aren't exactly injuries

Lots of scars on my arms, although they're rarely painful

i used to work out like a maniac - 4 hours a day
aerobics (various) then running, then lifting (the girly type)

my knees are finished. they call it arthritis but its wear and tear

i get cortisone shots roughly every 6 months, but honestly it doesn't help much

None, but I have a significance of scars from past injuries. Though the "V" shaped scar on my right shin from the time I tore my leg open to the bone at the ripe old age of 6 has faded significantly. That kind of saddens me. It was like, a badge of pure pride.

My knees are fucked up after 10 years of football (soccer) and various leg injuries. I can't put much stress on my knees and even simple stuff like just carrying heavy stuff can make it feel as if my lower leg is about to snap. I can't even sit on my knees.

I've heard that my knees are never going to fix themselves so I'd probably need surgery. It's not so bad that it's reducing my life quality, though. They're just very prone to injury.

ohh yah, that too

i was in rollover accident - bout 4x across the NY state thruway.

my left elbow got ripped apart (just glad i lived) and the nerves are all fucked up
if you touch the scarring its very uncomfortable, and the nerves "crawl" allover the rest of the scarring

I have a couple facial scars that arn't that noticiable minus to me, one from shrapnel one from a dog. One on my left leg from where a knife stabbed me in the leg. Couple minor scars here and there, every so often bits of shrapnel work their way out of my hands. Nothing major though well minus two five inch scars on my left arm. Right eye is bad sight wise.

Some other things. No major disfigurements or the like though.

My left eye was stabbed when I was younger and nearly worthless on its own, my left bicep has a scar that never went away, a head injury I had when I fell down the stairs comes back when I'm sick, and my left foot stepped on something sharp and gets cramped every so often.

I have a scar on my left forearm from when I was completely smashed for 3 days in a row. No idea how I got it, but it looks like it might be a burn.

it happened right along a vein, so that might have something to do with why it's never healed.

I had a really ugly accident on bike when I was 10. I banged my ahead against the road heavily and since then... I am doing computer science :P

And some screwups with my knee and arm. But it should be less than 100 more years to endure it, so whatever.

Not really an injury but my back tends to hurt at the base due to my javelin throwing. I don't consider it an injury as it's more of an ache and everyone who seriously throws has this pain(sign of a proper throw actually lol).

Fractured knee cap during my debut for a local football team in november last year. Now I feel slight pain when doing a simple step-over. I guess that counts.

Avid football player, used to be able to play with both feet equally well. Then, I fell awkwardly and I've never been able to use my left leg to shoot or cross without it hurting. Also, my left leg now goes dead every once in a while, causing me to lose balance.

When I was around 1-2 years old, I slipped, hit a pipe and smashed open my forehead. I've got a scar (and pictures of baby me wearing a bandage) to prove it.

Don't know exactly what, but when I was in grade 9, I started feeling some difficulties with my right wrist. Went to a doctor and he called it something I can't remember (the name had gel in it). A year later, I had surgery on it, but it was a failure. Because of that, I've got a scar and constant wrist pains.

Same here, but it was the wind that blew a dead insect's shell into my left eye. It got stuck under my upper eyelid and stayed there for days before I got to see an ophtalmologist. Glad it only scratched my cornea too.

No fractures or significant injuries whatsoever but I got an old scar from a hot flatiron I dropped on my right calf when I was young. Doesn't hurt anymore of course but it doesn't look great.

I forgot to add: I don't know if it was how I was born or the result of staring at the sun, but my eyes are really sensitive. Tears start welling up very easily. My eyesight's not bad, never needed glasses, but when my eye starts tearing up, then I have a really tough time seeing things for the rest of the day (due to the blurring).
