| FF 4 is probably my personal favorite FF game though I haven't played them all. I've heard FF 5 has good game play but a poor story and weak characterization. I know I could just read a review but I'd rather ask you guys <3. So did the game like revert to the NES FF style of storytelling or something? |

| I was never able to finish FF5 because my save file got corrupted and I pretty much rage quit. lol The only redeeming thing I remember is the job classes, which reminded me of FF Tactics. I should replay FF Anthologies (5,6) |

| For me, 4 and 6 had great stories while 5 essentially came down to "there's a bad guy, go kick his ass." However, I found 5 to be more fun, not just with the classes, but just by being more lighthearted with stuff like Gilgamesh and reverse traps. |
| I wouldn't say inferior, sure FF5's story may not be as deep as 4 and 6, but I still enjoyed the game and even prefered it over 4 for awhile. Story is still pretty interesting and this is the game to introduce Gilgamesh. |
| 5 is very different, its much more light hearted and even comedical at points, though it has its darker moments. The job system was pretty oh shit worthy for its time, the characters are likable(gilgemesh is the best thing ever). Its worth a play but its not as dark or epic as FF4 and 6, though i prefer it to 4 since i thought 4 got hindered by its constant asspulls |

| FF5 is weaker in storytelling, but easily makes up with gameplay. Not that Final Fantasy is a series known for having good stories. |

| FF5 was actually a lot more memorable and entertaining for me than 4 or 6. I never got around to completing any of them, but I think I got the furthest in FF5. |
| FF5 is like FF7 - great gameplay, but story and character-wise nothing exceptional, with both FF4 and FF6 beating it by a mile in those aspects. |

| FF4 has the better story, FF5 has the better gameplay. If I had to pick one or the other I'd go with FF5 tho. |
| Gameplay wise it builds upon the class system that was in Final Fantasy 1 and 3. The story was pretty weak on a grand scale but that doesn't mean it wasn't enjoyable. |
