Actually, I changed my mind, I'm naming all my kids Asandari to fuel my superiority complex and extend my mark on the world.

Just like how I'm going to brand everything I touch with asandari.

It's because I'm cool like that B)

If I would EVER do it, would be Kamina, for obvious reasons.

Depends on the name. If it's a pretty normal name then probably yes, If it's an unique easy bully material type of name, then I would say a no....

That's true. It also would depend on if they like the idea that the name is based on an Anime character, and if they like Anime.

Tell you what, Windy; I'll forgive you if you become my wife. You have to turn japanese and change your name to Jenova though.

How about it?

i can't name my child after an anime character. but i may name my child with a japanese name. I am South East Asian so it might fit. There are cute Japanese names, so why not?

Tamaki literary means "step on it," in my language, so I couldn't. Choosing the Japanese name should be thorough.

---------

I know a person who named her daughter "Logan" after X-men's Logan. Not a nickname, but a registered name. After sometime, it sounded right and cute.

I've never really thought of it, but no, I would never name my children over some anime character. If it was something common maybe, but other wise no. Maybe a middle name though...

Hmmmm I really like the names with a "ske" at the end but I already have plans for my children's names:

1st daughter- Amanda Lynn Ku
2nd daughter- Claire Anette Ku
3rd daughter- Bitch Please Ku. . . so I can say "Bitch Please do your homework!"

or maybe . . .

Son - Christopher Oliver Ku
Daughter - Christina Ophelia Ku . . . so that their initials will be COK hahahaha. . . I'm evil

I may. It depends. Growing up in school I've ran across different names like Tashika, Syrena, Delicia, Tiade, Zyisha, Lanaire to name a few. None of them were asian. What's a Yukari, or Harai gonna do? Nothing really. Even before I was a big anime fan the first time I heard the names (well actually Harai I'm changing from Hirai) I instantly liked them. They have been in the back of my head for over a decade. It just so happens that they were from anime characters (which I don't really care for). If the name has a nice meaning to it then it may reflect my feelings for the child.

If we got 80% or higher let me know! :)

I've always considered it, don't know if I will do it for sure though. Any names I've ever considered were from Cowboy Bebop and Sailor Moon. My grandmother's great-aunt was actually named Birdie, so I can't see me naming a child that, being too big of an issue, Lol.

Jorban wants to name one of our kids 'Wolf'. Not anime related, unless you're thinking of Wolfwood of course. But a name like that... I'm not exactly too keen on, lol.

But it would be so awesome, hell with a last name like Couture we could get away with just about any anime name.
