Man, you might think lucky star is over rated, but thats because you did not find the deeper meaning of watching such series.
Its not just parody, it has sometimes some philosophical questions behind.
Of course thats not all the time. But it still has.
Another thing is the psychology analisys shown by the anime.
It might sound crazy and maybe difficult, but the show it self tries to explain/show/understand personality patterns, and also makes you identify yourself as one of those thousand characters.

Both have a fairly small cast of interesting characters taking part in very everyday events, and both are extremely satisfying.

Anime like this don't really need a storyline (see: Lucky Star, Galaxy Angel, etc). Though half as a spoof, it wasn't really funny and detracted from the characters and the series. This series would have been better if it was a series of mostly unconnected episodes like many other comedy series.

umm....sure. ES is an ancient legend, why would you want to compare ES with LS, and said ES should have been better if it's ANY similar to LS? plus, i dont find LS 'funny' or maybe there's something wrong with my sense of humor..

Actually I find Azumanga Daioh to be overrated as well, but it's definitely worlds better than Lucky Star. Then again, I prefer Pani Poni Dash to both shows, honestly. At least when that show makes pop culture references, they do it with finesse and somewhat of a style.

This is actually a pretty common occurance. A lot of people who gave AzuDai a low score also gave LS a high score, it's rather annoying.

This was held in a chatroom. Someone was talking about LS and said that I didn't like it. Some other person said to me, "wow u stupid bitch, go kill urself. lucky stra is awesome and if u think any other anime is awesome stop lying to urself" and other crap I didn't care about.

They're pretty much the same as Startards. They think it's an amazing series. Except with Naruto it's usually because it's one of the first anime series they've seen so they think it's amazing...anyways, that's mostly what I've encountered.

her voice as Haruhi is annoying, her voice is Misa is super annoying, her voice as Konata is absolutely disgusting

The only time I liked her voice was as Chizuko from Nijuu Mensou no Musume. I was shocked to find out that she was voiced by Aya.
