Judging from his reactions and answers.

He obviously have a number of regrets about SAO, and is kicking himself over how he could have made it much better. He seem very conserve.

he definitely have grown a bit as a writer.

One thing that I like to point out is... Unlike a lot of his SAO fans, this guy is actually logical when it comes to the "What if I'm stuck in SAO?" question.

A lot of SAO fanboy usually go rampage over how they'll do better than Kirito because they're better MMORPG players behind their computer screen!

Sadly, SAO is already made, and it's not good, incredible amount of potential are wasted, and there are holes. Reki knows and acknowledge them.

If anything, my opinion of this guy improved a little bit.

He seems like he wishes he could have done things better. Owning up to the fact that you've made some mistakes is always a good thing. Reading his later SAO novels, you notice that his writing improves more and more. Anno is doing Eva again. Why not have Reki do SAO again in 10 years or so?

Seeing as he is still releasing novels for SAO, I'm excited to read the upcoming volumes as I'm only on Volume 7...

After reading Accel World and SAO, I can see he has definitely become an even better writer.

He already apologized for some things and mentioned some other things he would have liked to do better in several of the author's notes. Now stop judging something you haven't even read.

What does my opinion of SAO anime got anything to do with what I haven't read?

Better question...

When the hell did I ever claimed that I read his books? (Sure, I read 2 chapters, but that's besides the point)

or better...

Read properly, and think before you respond to things!

EDIT:

Now stop judging something you haven't even read.

What exactly am I judging before reading? The last time I check, I didn't judge his books! (Were your butthurt fanboy goggles showing you things that are not there?)

Gosh... Seriously.

What I want to know is if Alicization is going to be just like what I read in animesuki because then it REALLY lost the whole idea behind SAO.Or it is just me not being able to see where this is going or not liking how this arc is going to end up as(based on spoilers by the web version at least).

I always do. You should think before making your posts, as you don't seem to be aware of the implications you make.

Sadly, SAO is already made, and it's not good, incredible amount of potential are wasted, and there are holes. Reki knows and acknowledge them.

If anything, my opinion of this guy improved a little bit.

This is the part that made me respond to your statement.
You are saying it's bad and talking about the wasted potential in conjunction with mentioning Reki admitting some flaws. He talked about the flaws in his written work.
This statement wouldn't make sense if you were talking about the anime only, since Reki didn't say anything negative about the anime in the interview.

What I want to know is if Alicization is going to be just like what I read in animesuki because then it REALLY lost the whole idea behind SAO.Or it is just me nor being able to see where this is going or not liking how this arc is going to end up as(based on spoilers by the web version at least).

I was very careful with the Alicization spoilers but I was also questioning the course he took if they were true. I can just hope he makes it work.

I would have to talk about the whole arc which for now is 3 volumes long and probably will have 4 or 5 more....

And to make it clear I would have to copy paste whole aragraphs from the SAO thread of animesuki that is full of spoilers that I try to avoid for the reasons above.I feel like it is turning out bad(for me at least) so I dont dare spoil myself even more.Read from here onward if you want to know.

I don't really mind spoilers of SAO. As I have pretty much given up on it being good.

If it turns good, then good.
If it turns bad, I already expected it.

Right now, I'm just curious of how it'll all turn out. Kinda like checking up on Naruto once in a while, to see if it'll go further downhill to the abyss or regain some footing. Ultimately though, regardless of how well SAO or Naruto did, it matters very little to me, as the damage has already left it's mark.

Oh wow, I just clicked on that spoiler link. This is so hilariously bad that I just have to keep watching the next season. This might even top Guilty Crown in the bullshit department!

And it seems like he set himself up for ruining a part of Accel World as well, a shame since that was actually a mediocre title and therefore way better than SAO.

SAO is not just a virtual reality anymore its a darn SIMULATED REALITY

Simulated reality is the hypothesis that reality could be simulated—for example by computer simulation—to a degree indistinguishable from "true" reality, and may in fact be such a simulation. It could contain conscious minds which may or may not be fully aware that they are living inside a simulation.
This is quite different from the current, technologically achievable concept of virtual reality. Virtual reality is easily distinguished from the experience of actuality; participants are never in doubt about the nature of what they experience. Simulated reality, by contrast, would be hard or impossible to separate from "true" reality

I'm pretty sure, if Gun Gale Online comes out, it will be way better because Reki sounded like he learned a lot from SAO so I think it will be batter and I am hoping it will be a longer series. More episodes, more action, more romance :)

It will be worse because Sinon's development depend solely in internal monologues and narration. And this is A-1 we are talking about.

damn his answer is VAGUE he did not gave a concrete answer to this

Q06: Is Kuroyukihime Kirito’s daughter?

KAWAHARA: There seems to be some conjecture that such a thing could be possible. However, it’s already said that Kuroyukihime’s family was not a happy one. If she was Asuna and Kirito’s daughter, in the twenty years between the time settings, they had a really bad falling out in their relationship. I hope she is not the daughter of Kirito and Asuna.

-- Maybe Yui [from Sword Art Online] was their favorite child?

KAWAHARA: I would like to think Kirito as a parent that would love all of his children equally.

and then he said this, giving hope

Q18: Why are Kirito and Haruyuki so completely and utterly different?

KAWAHARA: It could be that I wrote Sword Art Online first. Kirito is such a perfect character, almost too perfect. I decided with my second work to go with a character that is completely opposite of Kirito. After working on the title for a while, I’m starting to feel that Haruyuki would become a cooler main character from his growth. I would love to see an animated version where the two would cross swords.

Kirito is not a Gary Stu . The term Gary Stu is not accurate in itself (too perfect and lack realism)
